As such, it's not surprising to see a human like Yamcha embarrassed by his opponent Dragon Ball at all. As fans know, Yamcha eventually became Dragon Ball's long-running meme, made possible by his humiliating defeat. He may be an iconic Z fighter who deserves respect, but he is best remembered for his misadventures in the Dragon Ball.

As a desert bandit, Yamcha initially antagonized Goku and Bulma with Puar. After learning that the Dragon Balls could grant any wish, he immediately planned to steal Goku and Bulma's golden balls before they could go to Fire Mountain.

When most of Yamcha's plans failed, he decided to fight Goku, not knowing that the young Saiyan knows martial arts better than anyone. Although Yamcha used his Wolf Fang Fist, AKA Rogafufuken, in the battle, he ended up losing a tooth after Goku punched him in the face. His missing tooth ruined his handsome face, forcing Yamcha to flee.

In the Cell Saga, Perfect Cell aims to provoke Son Gohan to pull out his full Saiyan power. To accomplish this, Cell decides to use a bunch of Dwarf Cells to fight the Z-Fighters, including Yamcha.

While the Cell dwarves are significantly weaker than Perfect Cell, Yamcha had a hard time handling one of them on his own. Among Yamcha's tragic deaths in Dragon Ballhis death at the hands of a Saibaman remains one of the most popular ever. After all, many fans love to joke about Yamcha's death pose, including the show's producers, who went on to use it again in the baseball game between Universe 6 and 7 in Dragon Ball Super.

Beating a Saibaman was probably easy for Yamcha. In fact, he overpowered one of them and even thought he could take care of the remaining Saibamen himself. Facing Yamcha's allies, Bandages the Mummy not only toyed with him but also locked him in a brutal backbreaker forcing Puar to intervene. While Yamcha deserves respect for refusing to give up in the fight, his utter defeat at the hands of Bandages the Mummy stands as one of the most embarrassing moments of his fighting career in Dragon Ball.

Before becoming friends, Yamcha and Tien were each other's opponents in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Back then, they hated each other and threw insults at each other whenever the opportunity arose, so when they finally met in the tournament, Tien and Yamcha didn't hold back in their fight, determined to find out who is the strongest.

Unfortunately, Yamcha ends up losing the fight to Tien. Not only did Tien use Yamcha's Kamehameha against him, he also broke his leg in the process. Nevertheless, Yamcha showed such incredible strength against Tien that the latter did not hesitate to apologize and befriend him afterwards.

Before Yamcha could react, Android 20, AKA Dr. Gero, suddenly Yamcha with his arm and instantly kills him while a truck burns down in the background and the rest of the Z fighters arrive.

Yamcha learned nothing from his experience in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, only to repeat the same mistake on the 23rd. This time, Yamcha encountered Hero, a weak old man whose body was possessed by Kami.

During the fight, Kami tricked Yamcha into thinking he was an amateur fighter who didn't really know how to throw hands. Yamcha quickly believes him, and his poor judgment results in his humiliating defeat. Just imagine the pain Yamcha must have felt after Kami punched him in the groin while the viewers laughed at his bad luck.
