Gecqua is an upcoming Water-type Pokémon and is one of three new Gen 10 starters, along with Browt (Grass) and Pombon (Fire). Many already Pokemon winds and waves fans have shared art based on the characters, including their versions of the Gen 10 starters' evolutionary forms. A Reddit user named Serbero recently posted his interpretation of Gecqua's evolutions, which they envisioned as a Water-Psychic Pokémon as it evolves. Named Tailash and Shengong, Serbero's Gecqua forms retained the Pokémon's signature eyelashes, while giving them longer tails and more colorful details. Their designs were inspired by the Chinese mythological dragon god Shenlong and the Balinese legong dance, which is known for its intricate footwork and intricate finger movements.

Now, Serbero has designed another evolutionary line for the Gecqua, this time based on the real-life creature called the Komodo Dragon. Unlike the first designs, the new Pokémon are Water/Dragon type to reflect the name and species of the Komodo dragon. They are called Dracqua and Dracomodo, the middle and final stage respectively.
