IN Crimson DesertDesperate Challenge is a Sealed Abyss Artifact challenge that requires players to heal 3 allies with Force Palm Healing. The fastest way to complete this challenge is to use Nature's Grasp to knock down a tree on Damiane or Oongka as Kliff and then use Force Palm Healing to revive them from their downed state. This is how it would work.

Desperate Rescue Challenge

The Desperate Rescue challenge states that you must heal 3 allies with Force Palm Healing to unlock the Sealed Abyssal Artifact. What it doesn't say is that the healing will only count when the ally is “down”, not when they just get hurt and lose some HP.

To complete this challenge, you must find a way to reduce an ally's health to zero before healing them with Force Palm Healing. The obvious way is to bring a Damiane or Oongka to a bandit camp and let the opponents do the work for you. However, this is time consuming and risks failure if the enemies are not strong enough. A better way is to defeat allies yourself.

The easiest way to complete the Desperate Rescue challenge is through the following method:

Continue the main story in Crimson Desert to Chapter 3: Howling Hill to unlock Damiane as a playable character.
Open the radial character selection menu by pressing and holding D-Pad Up (Control) or F1 (KB/M).
Choose Damian and use the “Summon” hotkey.
Confirm the “Collect” choice to summon Damiane to your side.
Go to one forest with Damiane and cut down a tree.
Use Nature's grip on the fallen tree trunk by pressing F + Left Click (KB/M), Y + B (Xbox Controller) or Triangle + Circle (PS5).
Knock down the tree trunk on Damiane to drop her health to zero, forcing her into a submerged state.
Use Force Palm Healing by holding down the middle mouse button + Tab (KB/M) or R3 + L3 (Controller) to revive Damiane.
Repeat this process two more times to complete the Desperate Rescue challenge.
Interact with the Sealed Abyss artifact in your inventory to get the reward.

If you don't have enough Spirit to use Force Palm Healing or Nature's Grasp, use Kliff's focus ability to restore it.
