7 strongest non-Canon technologies

Over the years, Dragon Ball has introduced fans to a variety of powerful techniques belonging to heroes, villains, and everyone in between. The most recognizable technique the series has given us is the Kamehameha, which remains the most well-known attack in anime, to fans and non-fans alike.

But there are a lot more techniques out there that stand out, especially if you take the non-canonical ones. Whether it's movies or spin-offs, we've seen non-canon media introduce some incredible techniques that can give some of the strongest features we've seen in the mainline series a run for their money. These are the strongest techniques within Dragon Ball which unfortunately is not canon.

Dragon Ball: 7 Techniques That Rival Vegeta's Big Bang Attack

Vegeta's Big Bang Attack may be strong, but these techniques can be just as devastating.

Beyond God Instant Kamehameha

Super Dragon Ball Heroes is a wild ride. Between ONA and the manga, the spin-off series gives fans tons of fanfare that often results in unique interactions, overpowered characters, and awesome tech that we wish would make it into the main series.

Goku has tons of powerful attacks in Dragon Ballbut it would be great to see him use his Beyond God Instant Kamehameha at some point (maybe when the manga finally comes back?). Goku uses the technique in the Ultra Instinct Sign, where he charges a powerful Kamehameha and teleports around his target until he finds the perfect opening to attack. Goku didn't actually fire this one, but judging by how confident he was that it would hit Aeos, a former Supreme Kai of Time in her Time Power Unleashed form, it's safe to say it would have been pretty powerful.

Negative karma ball

GT is a polarizing series, with some fans panning it and others appreciating its return to the series' adventurous roots. One thing you can't deny is that the series gave us some amazing transformations and villains. Among GT's antagonists, Omega Shenron stands as its most iconic.

Omega Shenron was an unstoppable force, appearing as an unstoppable enemy thanks to his incredible power and arsenal of devastating techniques. One that stands out is his Negative Karma Ball, an energy sphere that channels Omega Shenron's negative energy. It would have destroyed the Earth if it wasn't for Gogeta stopping it and using his ki to turn the negative energy positive.

Super Dragon Fist

Super Dragon Fist

Another GT classic, Super Dragon Fist, is actually an improved combination of two other moves. The technique mixes Goku's Dragon Fist, which he used in Wrath of the Dragon movie, along with Penetrate!, the attack Kid Goku used to take down King Piccolo.

Like the other two, Super Dragon Fist is a fairly simple move. Goku attacks his opponent with a golden dragon that appears above him upon contact, punching right through his target and causing fatal damage. He used a combination of Super Dragon Fist and Final Assault to take down Super 17.

Super Ultra Spirit Bomb

Super Ultra Spirit Bomb

It really feels like GT was just trying to improve on the original series in any way it could. We all know that the Spirit Bomb is one of the strongest techniques in the series, but what about the Super Ultra Spirit Bomb?

While the regular Spirit Bomb is usually used to draw energy from a planet and its inhabitants, the Super Ultra Spirit Bomb draws energy from the entire universe. Goku uses the technique just as Omega Shenron backs him into a corner, with the massive boost he receives from beings across the universe enough to destroy the Shadow Dragon for good.

Maximum Final Flash (GT)

Maximum Final Flash

GT gave us a handful of new moves for Vegeta, and while Goku once again stole the show, the Saiyan prince has plenty of great moments himself. Fixed DAIMA gave us another version of the move, the Maximum Final Flash we see in GT is noticeably different.

The move is a variation of his Final Shine Attack that Vegeta uses in Super Saiyan 4. Using the same motion he does to fire a Final Flash, Vegeta fires a two-handed Final Shine Attack. He used it along with Goku's 10x Kamehameha against Omega Shenron, but the Shadow Dragon struggled against both incredibly powerful attacks.

Big Bang Kamehameha Limit Breaker

Big Bang Kamehameha Limit Breaker

Goku and Vegeta's fusions have some of the strongest techniques in the series, both canon and non-canon. IN HeroesXeno Gogeta uses what might be fusion's strongest technique: the Big Bang Kamehameha Limit Breaker.

While in Super Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Form, Xeno Gogeta charges up as much energy as he can to perform a Big Bang Kamehameha, affecting everything around him and concentrating that energy into a deadly attack that can disintegrate almost anyone it hits.

3 generations of Kamehameha

3 generations of Kamehameha

The father-son Kamehameha is a fan-favorite technique, and while it will never be outstanding, Heroes gave us an interesting variant. The 3 Generations Kamehameha is an even stronger version of the Family Kamehameha, this time featuring Goku, Xeno Bardock and the Future Warrior in Black. Not only is it cool to see all three of these characters interact together, but the attack is pretty devastating.

Valnet - Crunchyroll Sample Ad

It begins as a father-son Kamehameha with Goku and the Future Warrior in Black, with Xeno Bardock later joining in and firing a Revellion Trigger to support the wave. With all three charged up to their strongest forms, they combine to create a massive wave of energy that transforms the attack into a much stronger version of the Kamehameha family.
