Crimson Desert has been released, so put away your swords, grab some elixirs and get ready to explore a vast fantasy world filled with things that want to blow your mind. While you will spend a lot of time just wandering around or completing the main quests, players can participate in many side quests.
One of these is hunting troll Blix as a bounty hunter. But unlike many of the previous bounties you've encountered, this one can be tricky because he's not only surrounded by other trolls, but only appears at specific times of the day. Here's what you need to know to claim this reward alive.
Where to find Blix
To start the Blix bounty, you need to look around for the wanted posters in Hernand. Which ones you get is randomized, but focus on exploring the city and watching your minimap for purple scroll icons. These icons are job announcements, which often just turn out to be bounty hunters. For reference, I found my bounty poster for Blix outside the Inn in Hernand, but that's not always guaranteed.
Blix spawns in a small crevice directly south of Unicorn Cliff. The catch is Blix will only spawn between 06:00 and 13:00 in game timewhich means if you show up too early or late you have to come back. If this happens to you, find an open bed and sleep for a few hours so you can actually show up when Blix is around. Fast travel doesn't seem to have any effect on time.
The in-game time is displayed in the lower left corner of your HUD above your minimap and current location names!
You can find Blix in the gap, who will be surrounded by a group of trolls in the back. He will be the one completely shirtless and in shorts with a big gray mustache.

How to catch Blix
It can actually be a little tricky to catch Blix at first sight, as trolls swarm him, you have to fight your way through all these enemies to reach your reward. This enemy is also very fragile and can die in a few sword swipes. The trick is to try to draw his allies away from him with either arrows from your bow, or by backing and backing as they follow you.
Then you want to kill them one at a time, while avoiding actually hitting Blix with your weapon. If you do, there's a good chance you'll instantly kill him because of how weak trolls are. You can try crouching and then pressing Y+B (Xbox) Triangle + Circle (PlayStation) to tackle Blix while targeting him to tie him up. But this risks taking damage or being interrupted by other enemies.
Another safer, if more tedious, way to capture Blix is to kill all of his troll allies and then get far enough away from Blix that he will lose you and wander back to the gap. When this happens, crouch and sneak behind Blix. If you can get close while he is unconscious, you will have the opportunity to tackle him. Doing so will take a few hits before prompting you to tie him up.
Now just put Blix on your horse and ride him towards the prison so you can dump this bounty and collect your coin.
Keep in mind that killing Blix may bug the game. This happened to me during my testing, as killing Blix made it basically impossible for me to pick up his body or move it, locking me out of turning in his reward. I highly recommend manually saving before hunting Blix to ensure you don't run into this issue. Always try to catch him alive, because his dead body can bug like what happened to me, and you'll be softlocked until it's patched.
