How to get hot spring water in Pokopia

Hailing from Northern Ireland, Jessica has written thousands of guides across sites such as Eurogamer, PCGamer, IGN and PCGamesN. She also ventures into countries with reviews, news, interviews and features from time to time, but never strays too far from the guides. When Jessica isn't writing about games, she's usually stressing over character builds in Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact, or looking for a new survival horror to test the strength of her vocal chords. She asks you to please stop recommending giant RPG games to her, because they will become her new personality, and there's only so much unnecessary fuss her shelves can hold. This logic in no way prevents her from trying out any new gacha RPG that comes along, but looking at her playtime on those tends to have the same effect… sometimes.

You must either transport existing Hot-Spring water with the suction ability or do so by drinking Roserade Tea to bring in more Hot-Spring water Pokemon Pokopia. Each method has its drawbacks, with natural hot spring water only found in certain areas, and Roserade Tea a random drop from vending machines and everyday items. Also, you have to complete the Bleak Beach story before you can actually use the Suck ability – so it may take a while before you can create a Hot Spring Habitat with speed in Pokemon Pokopia.

How to get hot spring water in Pokopia

There are two ways you can bring in Hot Spring Water Pokopia:

  • Use the suction ability to breathe in the Hot Spring Water

  • Use Roserade Tea to fill your Ditto with hot spring water

When Ditto's stomach is full of Hot Spring Water, simply go to the area you want to fill and press the A button to spit it out and create a Hot Spring. Just make sure you spit the water out in an enclosed area, so it doesn't overflow and go everywhere.

If you're in an area that already has a hot spring (like Rocky Ridges), it's best to use your suction ability to inhale and transport that water to where you need to deposit it. Rose Tea should only be used to create a Hot Spring Habitat i Pokopia if there is no hot spring water in an area, which (unless you have stored it for a while), Roserade Tea is a rare product. It is rare because you only have one chance to get Roserade Tea from vending machines once per day in real time. So make sure you interact with all the vending machines you have found daily.

You can also get Roserade Tea from the ever-changing daily available items in the PC Shop, but just like vending machines, there is only a random chance that you can get Roserade Tea from these daily items.

The sucker ability is learned by the Paldean Wooper in the Bleak Beach area, who spawns in a cozy tall plant environment. This Habitat is made by using the Leafage ability to create four slabs of yellow grass from muddy water. However, you can only learn Sigh from Paldean Wooper after Piplup gives you the “Make a Waterfall” request, and Piplup will only do this after you've completed the main story in Bleak Beach by awakening Mosslax.
