What is a Crowned Wish in Genshin Impact?

The Chronicled Wish banner in Genshin Impact is like a mix of the typical Character Limited banner and the Weapon banner. Here is a summary of the wish system:

• To draw the Chronicled Wish banner, you must use Intertwined fate.

• You get to choose between the available ones character or arms in the banner.

• You are guaranteed to get the character or weapon you want on the second 5-star move. In the meantime, on the first 5 star the odds of getting what you want is 50%.

• The 100% 5-star drop guarantee is at 90 moves, regardless of whether you choose a weapon or a character.

• If you choose a character as your guaranteed drop, your 50/50 loss will be a character. Next, if you choose a weapon, your 50/50 loss will be a weapon.

As a mix of limited character banner and weapon banner, this is how you can expect the Chronicled Wish banner in Genshin Impact to work:

1. Choose from available characters or arms

2. Wish until you get a 5 star case

3. There is a 50% chance you will get the 5 star you chose. If you choose a character, your 50/50 loss will be a character, not a weapon; if you choose a weapon, your 50/50 loss will be a weapon, not a character.

4. If you lose 50/50 you get a point of fatesimilar to the banner of arms. But unlike on the banner of arms, where you need three 5 stars for a guarantee Chronicled Wish only needs two 5 stars for a warranty. This means your next 5-star draw has a 100% chance of being the character or weapon of your choice.

5. When you get the 5 star you want or if you change your choice, The fate point will be removed.

Does Chronicled Wish Pity carry over into Genshin Impact?

However, if you stop drawing and the Chronicled Wish banner ends, you will lose your fate point.

For example, after getting Ganyu and losing your 50%, you drew 50 times and ran out of Primogems. After the current Chronicled Wish banner ends and new characters are available, you come back to the 50/50 odds when you choose a new 5-star guarantee. However, you will still be at the 50th draw for your sympathies and only need 40 more draws to reach the 90th wish guarantee.
