When introduced in the Tournament of Power, Ultra Instinct quickly cemented itself as the most interesting and powerful transformation ever seen in Dragon Ball. Introduced as the Angels' signature technique, Goku became the first mortal to call it his own, although his version was much weaker than the Angels enjoy.
As such Dragon Ball Super manga subsequently revealed that there are levels of accuracy with this technique, and that Goku is currently only at the bottom of the ladder. So in this article let's go through the many transformations in the series that are stronger than Goku's Ultra Instinct.

Ultra Ego is the technology of the Destroyer Gods

Where Ultra Instinct exists as the greatest defensive form in the entire multiverse, Ultra Ego serves as its perfect mirror and the most powerful offensive form in all Dragon Ball. This is the innate technology of the Destruction Gods as it allows them to harbor and use the Energy of Destruction, which can erase from existence anything it comes in contact with.

In the Granolah arc, Vegeta was shown to unlock this powerful state as his own way to reach the upper levels of strength. However, Ultra Ego was actually stronger than Ultra Instinct in its first showing, as it managed to perform much better against Granolah, requiring the enemy to transform to truly match it. It's pretty unrefined at the moment though, so it's less reliable than Ultra Instinct.

The Beast Form took its user up to the strongest level

In one of the most contentious and contentious debates in the entire Dragon Ball many believe that Gohan Beast is even stronger than Ultra Instinct Goku. The main reason for this comes from the Super Hero arc, where Gohan first stated that he wasn't sure if Goku or Vegeta could have defeated Cell Max.
After that, Chapter 103 showed Goku and Gohan sparring against each other, where the entire fight was fairly even until a notable moment when Gohan powered up to the point where his speed replaced Ultra Instinct's auto-dodge capability, allowing him to knock his father out of shape for a while. Although the likely answer places them as equals, some believe that Gohan Beast is stronger.

Having become the strongest League of Death in all of Universe 7 after his wish with the Cerealian Dragon Balls, Granolah's power was far beyond anything the heroes could handle at that moment, even Ultra Instinct Goku. This was proven when he managed to speed up Goku and knock him out of shape with a single hit.
However, Granolah received a much larger power-up later in his fight with Ultra Ego Vegeta. While Vegeta completely overpowered him when he first unlocked his Destroyer state, Granolah eventually achieved two red eyes, doubling his strength and arguably making him the strongest at the time.

Gas achieved his awakened state and took on all the heroes

Once Granolah was redeemed in the arc, it was clear who the main villain would be after him. With Heeter's arrival, Gas made an appearance in his brand new form, which he had achieved the same way Granolah did; by making a wish with the Cerealian Dragon Balls.
But his wish really owed its power to the fact that Gas' body had to repeatedly adapt to the strength of others to keep him the strongest in the universe, ending up turning him into a shell of his former self. But despite this, it took the combined powers of Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah in their strongest forms to take him on, cementing full-powered Gas as the second strongest in the arc.

True Ultra Instinct made work of Saiyan emotions

Although Mastered Ultra Instinct is the technique used by the Angels and is the strongest version possible in the state, it eventually proved not to be the best version for Goku, who was unable to use his Saiyan powers in it. Due to this limiting factor, Goku's fight with Gas led to him being quickly overpowered.
However, later in the battle, Goku eventually realized that he needed to tailor the technique in a way to allow for the growth of his strength, leading to True Ultra Instinct. Once achieved, Goku even remarked that he was stronger than Gas when in this power, which he was unable to do when in his normal Mastered Ultra Instinct form.

No one could have expected the Granolah arc to end the way it did. In an attempt to finally defeat Frieza, the Heeters summoned him to Planet Cereal so that Gas could knock him down, but unbeknownst to them, Frieza had managed to get in 10 years of training to perfectly hone his potential, unlocking the Black Frieza form.
In this state, Frieza's new strength is so astronomically above others in the series that many believe him to be on par with Beerus and the other Destroyer Gods. Due to the fact that he effortlessly killed Gas and then knocked the heroes out of their most powerful forms with a single punch, Frieza is easily the strongest death league in the setting right now.
