Heartopia gives you a beautiful world full of collectibles, but your starting space is painfully small. Soon you'll be spending more time managing your bag than actually exploring. If you've ever had to drop a rare item on the ground because your backpack was full, you'll want to learn how to increase the space of your backpack in Heartopia.

Here's how much each food item sells for in Heartopia.
How to increase backpack space in Heartopia
To expand your backpack i Heartopiayou must visit Ka Ching. You'll find her in the General Store, usually near the edge of the city center. Look for store icon on your map and head straight there whenever your inventory starts to replenish.
When you talk to Ka Ching and open General Store menuscroll down until you see Backpack Expansion option. Backpack expansions directly add slots to your inventory, while inventory expansions increase your long-term storage capacity.
The first Backpack expansion is free. After that, additional upgrades cost Wishing Stars. Each expansion increases your carrying capacity.
Wait for the backpack and stock expansions to go on sale before buying. Ka Ching regularly offers discounts of up to 60% on backpack and inventory upgrades. An expansion that normally costs 25 stars will be much cheaper on sale. If you only buy expansions when they're on sale, you can save enough stars to buy multiple upgrades instead of just one.
How to get more wish stars
One of the easiest ways to get more Wishing Stars is by completing Accommodation requests. NPCs around town send daily requests asking for items or small favors. Completing these tasks rewards you with Wishing Stars along with other useful resources, so it's worth checking them regularly as part of your daily routine.
How to unlock and use inventory storage
Inventory storage becomes available around GD Member Level 2. Once unlocked, you can access it by going to your house, opening your inventory and selecting the inventory option. From there, you can store items directly instead of carrying them in your backpack.
This is special useful for furniture, craft supplies or seasonal items you don't need right away. As your GD membership level increases, so does your inventory capacity.
If your inventory is overflowing, selling items is one of the quickest fixes. Mr. Albert buys insects, crops and other items in exchange for gold. If you're into the birding hobby and have extra cards, you can give up to five cards per day to Bailey J for rewards.
