Bladepoint Crossover, but there is a catch

Monitoring has officially revealed a collaboration event with Naraka: Bladepointbut unfortunately it is only available in China. With stunning cosmetics inspired by the characters in action Battle Royale, this crossover is the latest in a series of exclusive China Monitoring events.

The release of Monitoring Reign of Talon Season 1: Conquest on February 10 marked a huge turning point for the hero shooter. After dropping the 2nd from Overwatch 2this soft relaunch included its first story-focused season, five new heroes, sub-roles, a UI update, and more. Within a day of launch, Monitoring broke consecutive player records on platforms including Steam and Twitch.

China-Only Overwatch x Naraka: Bladepoint Crossover Event

Now, Monitoring has revealed a stunning new collaboration to join the relaunch. Monitoring x Naraka: Bladepoint is a crossover event that transforms D.Va, Freja, Widowmaker, Reaper and Wuyang into Battle Royale heroes, with skins, sprays, name cards, player icons and more. Unfortunately, there's a big asterisk attached to this new event: it's only available in China, and there are no plans to take it overseas, despite Naraka: Bladepoint be available globally. It means the following Monitoring skins can only be obtained in China:

Naraka: Bladepoint is a Wuxia martial arts battle royale game developed by 24 Entertainment and published by NetEase, the same company responsible for distribution Monitoring in China. Players choose from 22 different characters, each with a unique skill and three different Ultimates to choose from, and battle for supremacy in 60-player matches. The game is extremely popular in China, but still has a dedicated community worldwide.

What does Monitoring x Naraka: Bladepoint collaboration that stands out is its incredible production quality. The skins themselves are exceptional, with fidelity comparable to the best legendary and mythic skins in Monitoring. But beyond that, this Monitoring crossover included a stunning four-minute cinematic trailer showing characters from both games interacting, originally posted on Chinese social media and then shared on Twitter by the Overwatch Cavalry.

This is not the first Monitoring event specific to China. The Black Claw Archives Monitoring event from late 2025 to early 2026 is a recent example; it gave Chinese players the ability to obtain rare cosmetics such as Demon Hunter Sombra, Thunder Doomfist, and Lilith Moira. In February 2025, Monitoring also released Loverwatcha robust China-only sequel to the original dating sim mini-game that was released for free on Valentine's Day two years earlier. Beyond MonitoringBlizzard has worked with NetEase to release region-locked events in other games as well, such as the new Titan Reforged World of Warcraft Classic servers and the gorgeous Lunar New Year cosmetics for retail Wow.

Unfortunately, Monitoring senior vice president Walter Kong's words below Monitoring x Naraka: Bladepoint The collaboration's initial reveal suggested that the event would remain exclusive to China indefinitely and that there are no plans to take it global. While this may change in the future, fans shouldn't get their hopes up. As said, Naraka: Bladepoints sister collaboration with Monitoring skins in the battle royale is allegedly planned to run outside of China in the future, but only time will tell if that will be the case.

Overwatch's second active co-op event

Luckily, there's another co-op event live in Monitoring right now which is available globally. Monitoring Reign of Talon Season 1: Conquest saw the start of the Sanrio collaboration, giving several heroes adorable outfits inspired by Hello Kitty & Friends:

As before Monitoring collaborations, players can purchase each of these skins individually for 1,900 Overwatch Coins, in their bundles, complete with Highlight Intros, Emotes and more for 2,800 Overwatch Coins, or in the Hello Kitty and Friends Mega Pack for 2,900 Overwatch Coins. Additionally, fans can earn matching name cards, Sanrio Sprays, the True Friend Player title, and some Battle Pass XP by completing in-game challenges before the event ends on February 24th.
