Insomniac's pedigree speaks for itself when it comes to the headline title, and many fans have a few reasons to replay it (or play it for the first time). The original 2018 game, as well Spider-Man Miles Moralesis already part of the PS Plus Extra catalog, meaning the entire series will be available then. Second, Insomniac's Wolverine the game is expected to release this year, allowing fans to get a feel for Insomniac's open world design ahead of its latest title.

As for the other games, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is a second chance at a mixed/negatively received title. It doesn't always work, but platforms like PS Plus are perfect for giving a once reviled game a second go. In it, players explore a fully recreated Hong Kong island through a “lifestyle and social experience” focused on open-world racing. Nevameanwhile, is from the developers of Pig and is a strong puzzle-platformer where players take on the role of a character named Alba as she travels through four seasons (representing life) alongside her wolf companion.
Interestingly, Neva is available to both PS4 and PS5 players despite Sony's warning that they would discontinue PS4 games on the PS Plus service this year. There's still plenty of time left in the year, of course, but the timing of the announcement seemed like fans should expect it soon in the year. That has not been the case so far.

It will be interesting to see what else rounds out the PS Plus Extra catalog when the official announcement comes, as well as what the PS Plus Premium games for February 2026 are (if any). Fortunately, the wait is not long. Fans can expect an announcement on February 11th, with their addition alongside those titles on February 17th.
