Thousands of ARC Raiders fans demand that the world map be available to all party members, so they can more easily see active events and mark the areas they feel are best for raiding. Despite a successful launch and a strong player base months after release, ARC Raiders has faced some criticism, particularly for lacking quality-of-life features such as a shared world map for party members.
Embark Studios has responded to fan requests and added more quality-of-life features with each one ARC Raiders patch. Still, many players feel that the developer is moving too slowly. Others also feel that the game lacks basic features that should have been included at launch, citing the world map as a prime example.

Just a day after the release of the Headwinds update, Embark Studios is releasing a new ARC Raiders update to fix some unintended changes.
All party members should see the map, say ARC Raiders fans
IN ARC Raidersonly the party leader or host can see the map and active events and decide where the team should go. Other party members must either rely on the leader's instructions or consult third-party interactives ARC Raiders maps to track events. Thousands of fans are now claiming that this system is ineffective and are calling on Embark Studios to make the map visible to all party members.
What makes the current system even more frustrating is mapping conditions into ARC Raiders are time sensitive, which means the team often needs to decide quickly to avoid missing out on bonuses. But party members have to spend extra time asking the leader for exact locations and durations or rely on online tools to select a location, wasting their valuable time.
In most shooters with a landing decision phase, all team members usually have a way to suggest where the team should go. IN Call of Duty: Warzonefor example, teammates can ping locations on the map before choosing a landing spot. Surprising, ARC Raiders has skipped this default feature and frustrated thousands of fans. One Reddit user even said that party members' inability to see the map was a major reason they stopped playing the game.
A split map isn't the only problem fans have with it ARC Raiders' map. Many have expressed frustration on social media over the map conditions. Players say the current rotation schedules some limited-time events during work hours, making it difficult for those with a standard nine-to-five job to attend. Fans are now asking Embark Studios to adjust the timing of the map conditions, so that casual players can also benefit from them.
ARC Raider's world map could use more improvements
Fans have suggested several practical quality-of-life features to improve the map. One user recommended adding a small counter next to each zone to show how many ARC Raiders keys the player has for that region, saving time. Another suggested that zone icons show the number of active missions in each location to help players prioritize their raids.
According to ARC Raiders' 2026 roadmap, the February patch will bring a new map update that may include some of these requested features. Titled Shrouded Sky, the patch will also introduce a new map state and a new ARC threat. Embark Studios has not confirmed an exact release date, but most gamers expect it to arrive at the end of February.
