Spoiler Alert: Proceed with caution!
Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined is exciting, but it doesn't address the elephant in the room
Although Square Enix recently announced a remake of Dragon Quest 7, it still leaves fans in the dark about the series' future.
The demo ends after Ballymolloy's storywhich is the first world the party visits. Playing the demo also unlocks a special dress for Maribel that players can use during the adventure in the full version of DQ7: Reimagined. Players should also consider the following terms of the DEMO before downloading it:
-
To transfer save data to the full version of the game, players must have saved data from Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Demo created from the same accountstored on the system where they will play the full version.
- There will be a cap in character level and profession skills players can reach, as well as the gold coin cover.
-
Rewards such as bonus items will not be available in the demo.
-
To receive “Demo player present” on the full version of the game, players must have DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined Demo save data created from the same account, stored on the system where they will play the full version.
-
“Demo Player Present” can be received from “Claim Special Rewards” menu in the full version of the game.
So, in other words, players can already enjoy Dragon Quest VII Reimagined (at least the first part of the adventure). Later, when the full game is released, if they want to buy the game, they can continue their progress for the rest of the adventure.
