2025 was a defining year for one of the biggest shonen series of the last decade, My Hero Academia. In the modern era of Shonen, My Hero Academia has been a sensation since it first aired in 2016. Now, 10 years later, it has ended with My Hero Academia Season 8. With its manga already ending two years ago, it may seem that My Hero Academia as a franchise is completely over. But that is not the case.

2026 will be a big year for MHA. It is officially confirmed that four major projects are coming.
My Hero Academia is actually returning in February with a new project, My Hero Academia: All's Justice, which will be released on February 6, 2026. It's a new video game that allows fans to dive into the final arc of My Hero Academia and play through different characters. Fans are definitely excited about this new video game version for the series.

My Hero Academia Season 8 Episode 11 Was The Finale
My Hero Academia was easily one of the most popular anime series of the past ten years. The first season of this series was absolutely brilliant, and so were all subsequent seasons. But they would all pale in comparison to what My Hero Academia delivered this year with its final season. My Hero Academia Season 8 was incredible, with next level directing and animation. While the final part of the story was brilliant and truly an amazing journey, it was quite short, with only 11 episodes in total, and it marked the end of this beloved franchise.
As the story ended, fans got to see the battles of Shigaraki vs Deku, as well as Bakugo vs All For One in the final season. An 8-year time jump was also shown, and at the end of it all, the main characters have become Pro Heroes. Although My Hero Academia didn't end that long ago, the series already creates a sense of melancholy. Thankfully, there is more MHA content on the way, even if it's not a TV anime.

My Hero Academia had a great run with its TV anime, but it's over now. Given its size, the franchise is still far from dead. My Hero Academia is still a great series, and an incredibly profitable one at that. Not too long ago, it was revealed that the series would be getting a new video game, and no doubt fans are incredibly excited about it. My Hero Academia's latest video game is called My Hero Academia: All's Justice. The game is described as follows:

My Hero Academia: All's Justice will be a fresh start for the franchise in the gaming department, and it's going to be pretty exciting, especially after what fans saw in Season 8. My Hero Academia: All's Justice will cover the final arcand fans will be able to participate in the same heated battles that they saw on TV.
My Hero Academia: All's Justice will be released on February 6, 2026, and like its predecessor, it will be a 3 vs 3 battle video game. Fans will be able to play as both heroes and villains, including characters such as Deku, Bagkugo, All For One and Shigaraki, as well as many others.

Has three editions to choose from
My Hero Academia fans don't have to wait until February to buy this new game. Fans of the series will be happy to know My Hero Academia: All's Justice is already available for pre-order on most platforms. As it stands, it can be played on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a Nintendo Switch release date at the moment.
My Hero Academia: All's Justice has three options for fans to choose from for the pre-order: the Basic version, the Deluxe version and the Ultimate version. These are all available for pre-order at various prices on the fan's platform of choice.
My Hero Academia Anime will officially make a big change to the manga
The anime is about to take a departure from the manga and change the ending.
The Basic Edition only includes the base game, while the Deluxe Edition also includes Season Passes. The ultimate version includes both the aforementioned items, as well as 7 HUD banner sets and a bunch of costume packs for players.

A new video game is definitely an exciting step forward for the My Hero Academia franchise, especially after the sad ending of its TV anime. However, that's not the only thing My Hero Academia fans have to look forward to in 2026.
right now, My Hero Academia fans actually have another TV anime airing, and that is the spin-off anime known as My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. Season 2 of Vigilantes started airing recently, and fans should definitely catch up while it's still airing. This anime delivers exciting new stories about new characters, and some old faces too, like Aizawa.
Besides that, My Hero Academia technically has one more episode from its original series. My Hero Academia: More is a special episode coming in March 2026and it will officially adapt the true ending of the series, which Horikoshi revealed in his extra chapter, My Hero Academia chapter 431. Fans are very excited to see what else the series has in store for them.
Of course, Although it is not yet confirmed, some fans are also waiting for a new animated film. After all, Jump Festa 2026 hinted that there are special projects that have yet to be announced. Fans will have to wait for more information on this in the coming months.
