Echoes of Elysium is an interesting survival crafter where players live, fight and explore aboard a fully designed airship. And the very first step to enter this amazing adventure is to crafts Sails. The problem is that the game doesn't explain very well the steps required to add them to the ship, and this happens in the first few minutes of the adventure.

How to unlock Sails Blueprint in Echoes of Elysium

The first step to creating a Sail in Echoes of Elysium is to unlock it Invention desk and Makeshift Airship Pieces recipe, which is automatically unlocked when the following resources are collected: Wood, Plant fiber, Liftium shardsand Broken parts.

Players will have all of these resources in the floating stone islets around the launch zone, and they can also get them by using the glide plane (hold hope – Spacebar) since there are remnants of Liftium and other materials in small clouds float in the air.

Now go back to the ship, and build a temporary deck structureand be sure to leave a space for the Invention Desk. Players must then place the invention table over the temporary structure and cover it with a curved makeshift airship part to fulfill the terms of use: It must be under cover.

Interact with the Invention Desk and unlock the recipes for the Crafting Bench and Raw sail. Now players must repeat the process with the Crafting Bench (place it, cover it with a roof), then interact with it to create Burlap Cloth and Burlap rope use plant fibers. Then, create a Strut using broken parts.

With all the elements ready, it's time to make your first sail with:

1x strut
2x burlap
2x sack rope
2x wood

Place it over the hull of the ship and make sure it doesn't collide with any workbench or structure or it will take damage every time it opens and closes.

Remember: The game is still in Early Access, so there will be plenty of crash damage and similar issues. The airship structures are extremely vulnerable to collision with other structures, and floating mines completely wipe out a makeshift airship, so be careful.

With the sail already in place, it's time to explore the devastated lands of Echoes of Elysium, and the first step in their journey is to look for The lighthouse and the dry dockwhich lies north of the starting point. Just go straight ahead from the playground at the highest possible speed, being careful not to crash into the floating rocks or trigger a floating mine.

Once players unlock the dry dock, they will be able to do so customize your airship further, so take advantage of this and build a formidable airship.
