Usama has a passion for video games and a talent for capturing their magic in writing. He brings games to life with his words, and he's been fascinated by games for as long as he's held a joystick in his hand.

Heartopia does a good job of drawing you in with its soft visuals and relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Everything seems simple at first, but it doesn't take long before you're juggling several different currencies. There are a bunch of different types of coins and tokens, each tied to different stores, events, and features. If you're new, it's perfectly normal to pause before spending something and wonder if you'll regret it later. This guide breaks down all the currencies in Heartopiaexplain what each is used for.

IN Heartopiayou can find a mix of free currencies, premium currencies and event exclusive currencies. Some are earned just by playing the game naturally, while others are connected to the gacha system or real money purchases.

Here is a simple breakdown of all currencies in Heartopia:

How to earn

Gold

Gold is the most basic and reliable currency in Heartopia. It is completely free and is used for most everyday purchases outside of the gacha system. You will rely heavily on gold during the early and mid game, especially for basic furniture, crafting needs, and general upgrades.

You can earn gold naturally just by playing the game. Completing quests, progressing through the story and selling items to Albert Jr. will slowly but steadily build up your supply.

Exhibition pass

Exhibition cards are used to draw items from the Gilded Acorn Exhibition ie Heartopias main gacha system. Each gacha move costs a certain number of passes, so these are best saved for banners that really interest you.

Most show cards are purchased with Heart Diamonds, although the game may occasionally send some as gifts via your in-game mailbox.

Exhibition ticket stub

Exhibition ticket stubs can be exchanged in the exhibition's souvenir or exchange shop. They allow you to buy recolored or special variants of items from the same banner. They are especially useful for players who enjoy collecting themed cosmetics.

Show ticket stubs exist to alleviate the frustration of pulling duplicates from gacha. When you receive an item that you already own, it will automatically convert to Ticket Stubs instead.

Heart diamond

Heart Diamonds are Heartopias main premium currency. If you plan to engage heavily with gacha banners or want faster access to exclusive cosmetics, Heart Diamonds are the currency you'll rely on the most.

Heart Diamonds are purchased with real money and are primarily used to purchase Show Cards or other premium items.

Moonlight Crystal

Moonlight Crystals are another premium currency, but they are used more directly for purchases in the Acorn Store.

They allow you to buy premium items without interacting with the gacha system.

These crystals can be obtained by exchanging heart diamonds or by redeeming Heartopia codes when available.

Wishing star

Wishing Star is one of Heartopias free secondary currencies. They are often used to purchase furniture, clothing and other bespoke items.

You can earn Wishing Stars by fulfilling wishes from townspeople or by connecting social accounts via the Events tab.

Pink Gacha Coins

Pink Gacha Coins are event-exclusive currencies tied to limited-time banners. If you like seasonal or themed content, Pink Gacha Coins is what you need.

These coins are earned by completing event-specific missions and can only be used during active events.
