If players are down for some ARC Raiders PVP but they fail to get the extra edge they need to aim faster, or react in time to every sticky situation they encounter on the upside, then they better take a look at this list.
These Setting options will give players Real Combat Advantagewhile improving significantly Performance, Visualsand Visibility. The last option on the list is a special tip that helps players spot enemy attackers wherever they go.
How to get PvE lobby in ARC Raiders
ARC Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter, but there is a way players can match with friendly players and enter PvE lobbies, here's how.
8
Turn off motion blur
A super annoying option that is always on by default
The first option that should be adjusted is Motion Blur. Go to Settingswhen Graphicsand scroll down. Find Motion Blur option and change it Of. This will not only give players a boost in their performance, but also avoid that awkward blur effect that occurs when they flip the camera. With this option turned off, players get a clearer view of their surroundings and can spot enemies faster.
In combat situations, even a small advantage like this means a lot, so keep it away at all times. Additionally, ARC enemies will also not give players the benefit of the doubt and will kill them in the long run. When players are running away or sliding, motion blur can also get in the way, so there's no point in having this on.

Turn off RTX
It increases performance significantly
NVIDIA RTX gives the game an amazing level of detail, but it also consumes a lot of resources, and in a game where every bit of processing power matters, it's a really bad option to have by default.
To disable it, go to Settings, then Graphics and scroll down to Ray Tracing. With automatic graphics detection, it can range from high to epic, but players are better off leaving it on “Static”. This way the performance will be really better, especially during night raids or electromagnetic storm maps. In addition, it helps to see better in low light conditions.
6
Adjust shadow quality, effects and post-processing to improve visibility and performance
Speaking of night raids and electromagnetic storms (even in Stella Montis, since most of the map is tunnels and dark corners), the best way to improve gameplay in these conditions is to adjust the shadow quality to improve visibility. Players will want to go to Settingswhen Graphicsand scroll down to Quality. Search now for Shadows and set it to 'Low.' Now scroll to Post-processing and also set it to 'Low.' Same with Effects Tab, set it to “Low”.
This will have a real impact on both performance and visibility in dark areas and places where lighting obstructs vision (like those Stella Montis tunnels with reflectors), allowing players to avoid being ambushed by rats lurking in dark corners. It also greatly increases performance when under heavy fire or grenades/bombardments/matriarch ammunition are triggered around players. Explosions are super annoying and hinder performance a lot.
5
Turn FOV to Max
More visibility, easy to spot enemies
Field of View (also known as FOV) is one of the most important settings in any third-person game with PvP mechanics, as it improves the field of view around the character, and in an extraction shooter like ARC Raidersall the more reason to do so.
To max it out, go to Settings, Graphics and set it to 80 from 70 (which is the default). This will allow players to be more aware of their surroundings, as well as aim better and dodge better.
4
Maximize performance and visibility Tweaking NVIDIA DLSS
See further and better, improve performance
In the Settings tab, look for the Graphics section and navigate to find itResolution scaling method' option. Set NVIDIA DLSS Quality from “Auto” to “Quality” and NVIDIA DLSS Model from “CNN” to “Transformer”.
This will balance out performance and visibility to the maximum, allowing a clearer view of the maps and scenario details, to easily detect movement patterns and avoid stuttering in combat-heavy situations.
3
Better control options for interactions/reload
Avoid this common mistake that will expose you in PvP
Go to Controller and scroll to Interact/Reload behaviorthen turn it to 'Tap to interact.' This will make it so that when you hold down the interaction/reload key the character will reload your weapon. That way, when players are near a container or using it for cover, their character won't stand up and start looting instead of reloading.
That simple tweak can make the difference between life and death if you're into PvP ARC Raiders. So keep that in mind before heading out to highly contested maps like Stella Montis or during Matriarch/Queen events.
2
Better crosshairs
For better control and aim
To improve crosshair alignment, go to Availability options and then scroll down to “Custom Crosshair Options”. There is one option there that requires tweaking, and that is “Override Crosshair Shape”. Turn it off and tweak it a bit. We recommend choosing either a circular or rounded diamond cross for better aiming and control of the bloom.
Players can also adjust colors to make the crosshairs more visible in all circumstances. Just make sure to adjust the opacity to avoid obscuring the view.
1
Night mode for sound
Don't miss a single step, no more rats behind you
Go to Sound Settings, there, look for night mode and enable it. This will reduce the volume of any loud sounds and amplify the smaller sounds like footsteps, Raiders charging shields, changing weapons, holsters etc.
What this does is give advantages to players who use environmental cues to detect the presence of rival Raiders. With this, players can also avoid being surprised or ambushed while looting, as they will hear their enemies approaching with more precision.
