PS Plus will lose 9 games in February 2026

PlayStation Plus subscribers will lose access to nine games in February 2026. Each month a new batch of games is added to the extra and premium tiers of PlayStation Plus. It's certainly cause for celebration, but on the same day new games are added, a selection of titles from the service also launch.

The latest update saw PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers gain access to games such as Resident Evil Village and Like a dragon infinite wealthbut they also had to say goodbye to titles like Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Sayonara Wild Hearts. We have no idea what new games will be added to PS Plus Extra and Premium in next month's update (likely to take place on February 17), but we do know which games are on the cards in February 2026.

Every month games are added to PS Plus

New Monthly PlayStation Plus Games! Sony is always adding goodies to its subscription service. The extra games for January 2026 have been revealed.

On February 17, PS Plus subscribers will lose access to Carto, Cult of the Lamb, New World: Aeternum, Rez Infinite, SaGa Frontier remastered, Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, Super Neptunia RPG, The ascentand WWE 2K25. In particular, New World: Aeternum has already been delisted before its servers were shut down on January 31, 2027, so if you haven't already downloaded it, you've already missed the boat on that particular game.

List of games leaving PS Plus in February 2026

  • Carto

  • Cult of the Lamb

  • New World: Aeternum

  • Rez Infinite

  • SaGa Frontier remastered

  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition

  • Super Neptunia RPG

  • The ascent

  • WWE 2K25

Unfortunately, some of the games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in 2026 are pretty notable titles. Cult of the Lamb is a dark, demented roguelike twist on something similar Animal Crossing which won several awards and received critical acclaim at the time of its original release in 2022. Rez Infinite is the latest version of the PS2 classic rail shooter, complete with virtual reality support. Its departure marks yet another VR title being removed from the PS Plus lineup.

PS Plus subscribers may also be sad to see WWE 2K25 removed from service. The latest installment in the long-running wrestling game series, WWE 2K25 received mostly positive reviews, with many hailing it as one of the best entries the series has seen in years, despite the controversial Island mode. It was recently confirmed by 2K that WWE 2K25s servers will be shut down next March, so fans of the game should keep that in mind. Regardless, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers only have until February 17th to play the game.

The ascent leaving PS Plus may also sting some players. The ascent had more mixed reviews compared to some of the other games leaving PS Plus in February 2026, but it certainly has its fans. The ascent is one of the local co-op games on PS Plus, so leaving the service means subscribers have one last option in that arena.

While it's sad to see these games removed from the PS Plus lineup, the good news is that on the day they start, new games will make their debut. The most likely day that the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for February 2026 will be announced is Wednesday, February 11, so subscribers should mark their calendars accordingly.
