Marathon will feature major casts from Clair Obscur and Baldur's Gate 3

Marathon will feature several English voice actors that players will recognize, as Bungie has confirmed which voices will appear at the game's launch. While their exact roles have not been revealed as of this writing, some of the voice actors who will appear in Marathon previously worked on award-winning games such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Baldur's Gate 3and Monitoring.

As a reboot of Bungie's FPS trilogy that originally launched on Macintosh computers in the mid-1990s, Marathon described as a multiplayer mining game with PvP elements. Although Bungie is a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marathon will not require players to have a PlayStation Network account if the game is accessed on Steam or an Xbox Series X/S console. Marathon will launch globally on March 5, with pre-orders now available at digital storefronts. The game starts at $39.99 for the standard edition, although the price can reach as high as $229.99 for the physical collector's edition and game code bundle.

Along with revealing the goods that Marathon players will get to pre-order the game, Bungie revealed the English voice cast for the upcoming title. Marathons English voice actors has 33 voice actors that some players may recognize from other projects. Three actors from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33Jennifer English, Ben Starr and Tracy Wiles, turned out to be part of Marathons vowel arrangement. English is known for her award-winning performance as Maelle in Expedition 33along with her previous work as Shadowheart in Baldur's Gate 3. English will also play the role of Gwendolyn in the upcoming action game Tide of annihilation. Comparatively, Starr's work includes his depiction of Verso i Expedition 33Clive Rosfield i Final Fantasy 16and Prometheus in Hades 2. As for Wiles, she voiced The Paintress Expedition 33Jaheira in Baldur's Gate 3and Joanna Calendula i Metaphor: ReFantazio.

In addition to English and Wiles, two more actors from Baldur's Gate 3s award-winning voice actors were also listed in the Marathons list. Both Neil Newbon and Samantha Béart, known for playing fan-favorite characters Astarion and Karlach respectively, were credited on Marathons vocal list. It is currently unknown what each voice actor's exact roles will be in Marathonso fans will have to wait for more information on which characters the voices will portray. Despite the lack of a character list, Bungie confirmed it Marathon will feature fully localized dialogue in all languages supported by the game, including Spanish, French, Japanese, and Korean. The song lists for Marathons non-English localizations will be revealed at a later date closer to the game's launch.

Even if Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Baldur's Gate 3 has several actors who will appear Marathonthe list also includes actors known for their work on various award-winning projects. The list also mentioned Roger Clark, known for his work as Red Dead Redemption 2s leading man Arthur Morgan, and Erica Lindbeck, who appeared in various games such as Persona 5, Final Fantasy 7 Remakeand Genshin Impact.

Despite Marathon undergoing a notorious art plagiarism controversy and a delayed release date after waves of negative feedback, the game's March 5 launch is just over a month away at the time of writing. With a star-studded voice cast and changes made in response to tester feedback, there's a lot riding on Marathons success. But given that shooters like ARC Raiders and Battlefield 6 have proven popular with players in 2025, it remains to be seen how Marathon will do relatively well despite his checkered past.
