Going from above and finding loot is the main goal in Arc Raiders. Sure, you can fight Arcs and other raiders, but collecting all the loot is the only real reason to leave Speranza. There's actually no point in playing the game unless you're actively looking for rare loot, crafting materials, and blueprints. And yet, as with many extraction shooters, people are selling Arc Raiders blueprints for real money.
This is not an unprecedented thing, many games have given rise to unauthorized services such as high-level accounts, rare materials and even cheats for sale for real money. Considering how popular Arc Raiders has been since its launch, it's not at all surprising to see promoted ads for the sale of blueprints and rare materials, even though it defeats the purpose of the game.
People are selling Arc Raiders Blueprints
The only reason you need weapon blueprints in Arc Raiders is to make it easier to get more loot. It's literally the crux that the extraction shooter genre is based on: get more loot so it's easier to get more loot in the future. But if people end up buying blueprints, the only reason to play the game is to fight Arcs and other players.
While the PvE aspect adds its own dimension to Arc Raiders, most people do it to steal items from other players. But if you buy blueprints and other items for real money, you're just fighting other players to fight. There are many other games like Call of Duty, Fortnite and PUBG that already offer it.
If you think Arc Raiders is hard, things will get worse
Looks like Embark can polish some Arcs.
In fact, Arc Raiders fans are also worried about an in-game version of trading or a marketplace. Embark CEO Patrick Söderlund has previously said that it's an idea they can look into, but the community is concerned that it will cause Arc Raiders to go down the same path as Escape from Tarkov. Loot will lose all meaning and will only equate to how much it's worth on the market.
