After getting caught by the Janitor in the previous chapter, the Kid has broken free of the wrapped cloth in Little Nightmares. Now he needs to collect an army of cute little Nomes to help him proceed to the next area. Similarly to the last chapter, the Hideaway chapter has 5 flotsams scattered around, so keep an eye out if you wish to earn a Trophy in Little Nightmares.

Players need to be on the lookout for all 5 flotsams in The Depths if they wish to get the Not Alone Trophy in Little Nightmares.
The Hideaway Walkthrough In Little Nightmares: Secrets Of The Maw
The Hideaway chapter starts with the Kid getting out of the wrapped cloth and falling to the ground. Three Nomes will surround the Kid and then run away.
Head right and go around the room to force the Nomes out of hiding. Once two of them escape through the crack in the door, approach the box of coals near the door to reveal the third Nome. The creature will get stuck in the crack, so pull it out and hug it.
Throw the Nome at the handle to open the door, then throw it over the boxes across the room.
Jump to the other side and toss the Nome to the lever and unlock the gate.
Try pushing the box away from the hole to summon the Nome to help you push.
Crawl into the next room where the Kid needs to gather two more Nomes. Approach the fallen dresser and open the top drawer to reveal a Nome.
After hugging it, throw both Nomes onto the table above so they push the box down.
Climb it and head left first to go through a window.
Open the first flotsam in the Hideaway chapter.
Go through the hole and jump up on the table again to release the imprisoned Nome.
Gather the Nomes and push the door together.
Proceed to the coal mine and jump on the stool to pull the lever. This will activate the machine, urging Nomes to gather coal and throw it into the fire.
After a while, the ladder on the left side will drop. Use it to go up, then use another one to reach the top floor.
Go behind the staircase and open the second flotsam.
Head upstairs and jump on the loose floor a couple of times to break it, which alerts the Janitor.
Crawl to the left where the enemy is working. The Kid needs to go to the next room, pull a lever to activate the machine, press a button to turn on the saw, rotate the lever, and escape through the chute. However, it might get complicated if players are planning to get the Ashes in The Maw Trophy, as you’ll need to complete all previous steps while holding a wooden Nome.
If players are not interested in the Ashes of The Maw Achievement, simply skip the steps concerning the wooden Nome.
Once the Janitor turns away from the hole in the floor, climb it and walk on the cloth closer to the table.
When the Janitor heads towards the hole, climb the table and take the wooden Nome.
Quickly, go down and hide in the corner and wait for the enemy to turn away again. Go around the cloth and throw the Nome or a nearby object to the other side, which will grab the Janitor’s attention.
All Nomes Locations In Little Nightmares 3 (Home Sweet Nome Trophy)
Players need to find all Nomes hiding in Carnevale if they wish to get the Home Sweet Nome achievement in Little Nightmares 3.
Wait for him to lose interest, then jump on the cloth and crawl through the window. Grab the Nome and throw it on the cloth near the round lever.
Sprint to the upper right corner and climb the table to pull the lever, activating the machine.
While the Janitor is investigating the left side, head into the other room and press the button to activate the saw. This will overwhelm the monster and overload his hearing abilities.
Run quickly to the left room and rotate the lever to open the door. Throw the wooden Nome down the chute and follow it to escape the Janitor.
Grab the wooden Nome and head right, then place it near the closed gate and leave it for now. Climb the table where a Nome is locked in a jar on the shelf on top. It will imitate the Kid, so keep jumping to make it fall off the shelf and break free.
Hug the Nome and head left, then throw it onto the ladder to make it slide down.
Go up and turn left if you want to see other parts of the ship, like how Six is escaping the sea of shoes, but it’s not necessary.
Jump to the other side using the cart of coal and rotate the lever to lower the cart. Return to the other side using the boxes in the back and go down the ladder.
Push the cart to the left and use it to climb the crate and go through the small window.
Dive into the coal pit and chase the Nome around to hug.
Throw the Nome up and make it pull the lever to activate the conveyor belt.
Stand on it to get momentum and jump to the hook and reach the other side.
Pull the lever to activate the other conveyor belt, forcing a Nome into the coal pit.
Jump into it again and chase the Nome to hug it.
Climb back up and throw the Nome to the lever to open the door and join all three Nomes together.
Pull the cart further to the left and use it to climb the shelves and open the third flotsam.
Go back down and drag the cart up the slope with the help of the three Nomes.
Keep pushing to the right and stop in front of the bookcase. Climb the shelves and crawl through the window to the right.
Drop to the floor and pull the lever to open the gate.
Push the cart again with the Nomes, and it will speed down the slope and destroy the barred gate.
Grab the wooden Nome and walk to the closed hatch and place it there. The Nomes will wait there as well.
Climb through the window and jump to the rope to reach the ground.
Turn left and pull the lever to open the hatch.
Grab the wooden Nome and throw it into the fire to get the Ashes in The Maw Trophy in Little Nightmares.
Next, it’s time to go to the right side and gather more Nomes. Open the small hatch and hug the first Nome.
Tug the second Nome out of the coal cart it’s stuck in and hug it.
Climb the ladder and pull the lever to activate the elevator, only for the two batteries to pop out, and one of them is not working.
As the place is dark, turn on the flashlight and crawl through the door to the right slowly to see the Janitor at the end. Try not to walk on the coals, as it will alert the enemy.
Keep sneaking to the next room and go behind the staircase to see the fourth flotsam.
Go up the stairs and move faster when you hear one of the creaks, as the Janitor will come running.
Quickly use the hanging carts to reach the other side.
Open the first cabinet to find some files and then open the one to the right to get a stool. Drag it to the first cabinet and climb it to reach the shelves.
Proceed forward by swinging from the light bulb and then go through the window.
Climb down the bars and jump backward towards another window.
Jump down and open the drawers to create a path up, then hop to the shelf to get the working battery.
Use the battery to open the door by throwing it at the button and then sneak quietly back. The Janitor will be in the way, but simply go around him and avoid the coal spots.
Place the two batteries in their spots and go up the small elevator. The three Nomes will run away, and you need to hug them.
How To Get The Batteries (Chapter 2) In Little Nightmares 3
Players must find two batteries/fuses to turn on an elevator during chapter 2 in Little Nightmares 3.
Crawl through the lower hole and open the first drawer of the fallen blue filing cabinet to reveal two Nomes.
Follow the first one to the left and hug it.
The second one is to the right, and the Kid needs to chase it around a box and hug it.
Drag the moving cart to the right, close to the table where the third Nome is drawing.
Climb the table and cling to the drawers to slide right. Once the cart moves slightly, let go of the drawers to land on it. Jump to the table and hug the Nome.
Before proceeding, climb the table near the blue cabinet again and go up the drawers to the top.
Turn left and open the fifth and final flotsam in the Hideaway chapter to get the Is Anybody Out There Achievement.
Next, throw the three Nomes to the lever to open the door slightly. Drag the box and put it under the door to stop it from closing.
Return to the elevator and toss the Nomes onto it to go down.
Throw one Nome at the lever and open the door to regroup with the previous two Nomes.
Move back to the coal machine, as it will have enough workers. Use the moving carts to slowly go up and then jump to the side.
Try to move the big box only for a group of Nomes to come and help.
Proceed forward to the cozy room full of Nomes to eventually stop on top of an elevator being used by none other than the Lady. The Hideaway chapter is complete, and players will unlock the End in Sight Trophy.
