The Culling Game arc has been described within the world of Jujutsu Kaisen as the most prolific instance of Jujutsu-related terrorism in history, mostly because the event saw the reincarnation of some of the most powerful and dangerous wizards of all time. Because of this, the world's power hierarchy changed dramatically.

With Gojo sealed away for this entire arc, and probably for the duration of Jujutsu Kaisen's The third season of the Culling Game will see many powerful characters compete for the place of the strongest in the series. So, in this article, let's break down who these characters could be in Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Yorozu is a powerful sorcerer from Sukuna's time

A master from the Heian era

• Cursed Technology: Construction

Yorozu was an incredibly powerful sorcerer from the Heian era, meaning she was active around the same time as Sukuna herself. During the Culling Game, she is reincarnated in a modern body and shows incredible mastery of her Construction Cursed Technique, allowing her to battle Sukuna for a time. Although her technique is the same as Mai's, Yorozu is much better at it due to her immense cursed energy.

Uraume has a very brief appearance during this arc

Although the Uraume's time in the Culling Game arc is incredibly short, they show immense power due to their incredible Ice Formation Cursed Technique. While they undoubtedly shine a lot more in the subsequent Shinjuku Showdown arc, the small display of their power in Season 3 is quite interesting.

Kashimo was the leader of the slaughter game

Although a controversial choice, Hajime Kashimo is placed here for a reason. Due to saving his once-cursed technique for Sukuna, Kashimo greatly limited himself during the Culling Game to only using his incredible Cursed Energy, which is the main reason why he lost to Hakari in their legendary battle. Despite this, Kashimo was such a powerhouse that his Cursed Energy manipulation alone made him the fiercest, highest scoring combatant in the entire event.

• Cursed Technology: Private Pure Love Train

One of the standout characters of season 3, Hakari will completely change the landscape when he makes his anime debut. Not only is his personality contagious, he's also incredibly powerful, with his cursed technology allowing him to open up rapid domain expansions. The fight between him and Kashimo, which Hakari wins, is arguably the best in the entire series.

Maki realizes her full potential in the first half of Season 3

The one who left everything behind

Due to her unique situation as a twin with an incomplete celestial restriction, Maki was notoriously weak for the early parts of Jujutsu Kaisen. But in Season 3, she will fully realize the true extent of her power when she sheds the last of her cursed energy, becoming the next Toji with the most powerful body in the entire setting. As a bonus, she is also outside the bounds of the cursed energy, meaning that the rules and domains of the world do not apply to her in the same way, leaving her very overwhelmed.

Yuki Tsukumo shows why she is a special class wizard

Being one of the only four special class wizards, Yuki is one of the strongest characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen. Due to her incredible Cursed Technique that allows her to give mass to herself, Kenjaku is even said to be the heaviest hitter in the entire series, with her physical attacks even stronger than Sukun's and Gojo's. Yuki has a big fight in season 3 that perfectly shows how powerful she really is.

Yuta finally realizes his cursed technique and uses Rika's power

Fans had been waiting to see Yuta Okkotsu back in action for quite some time, and Season 3 will not only reintroduce him, but will finally give a look at his incredible techniques and powers. Yuta's time in the Culling Game is packed with incredible fights and amazing moments where he comes out on top, which is why he was able to get the second highest scores in the entire event.

Kenjaku shows that his strength is as great as his mind

The Mastermind of the Culling Game

• Cursed Technology: Brain Transplantation

Everyone came to know Kenjaku as the mastermind behind the Culling Game, but very few could have expected his strength to be on par with his intelligence. Although he only really has one major conflict in Season 3, he comes out on top due to his mastery of multiple Cursed Techniques and his insanely powerful Open Domain, making him and Sukuna the only ones in the series to do so.

The King of Curses

• Cursed Technique: Cleave and Disassemble

It will come as no surprise to anyone, the man who has always been known as the strongest in history will retain the title in season 3. Without spoiling too much, Sukuna manages to realize a devastating power that makes him stronger than he's ever been before, even though he doesn't even have all his fingers at the time. While his displays aren't significant, he still effortlessly defeats some powerful main characters, setting the scene for the biggest battle of his entire life.
