Cyberpunk 2077 finally gets a fourth life path that lets you have a whole new origin and prologue, but the catch is that it's unofficial. Over the years, Cyberpunk 2077 has become one of the best examples of a video game redemption story, if not the single best, due to its state when it first launched versus years later, after CD Projekt Red polished and updated it. This isn't something every game can achieve, but it's hard to argue against the massive changes and improvements that Cyberpunk 2077 went through.
However, players accepted the challenge presented by CD Projekt Red's involvement, and began making progressively better and more game-changing mods for Cyberpunk 2077. There are incredible mods for the game that reinvent it or dramatically improve its systems, such as Equipment Ex, Cyberware Ex, Arasaka Cyberarms, Dark Future, Hardcore22V2, and compilation mods such as Night City Reborn and Welcome to Night City. While new life path mods existed before, a new one is here and better than ever for players to enjoy, called Fresh Start.

Say hello to your next Cyberpunk 2077 Playthrough and Character Path
Fresh Start allows you to mix the Nomad and Corpo life paths, making it so that your V was once a corporate suit in Night City and moved on to the clan life of the Nomads, but now they have neither and are back in Night City to find themselves again. The mod's creator, @DeceptiousPhil on Twitter, recently managed to add the location of the Nomad/Corpo path to the selection screen and integrated them seamlessly. The mod also comes with a custom prologue, which fits the new option perfectly.
The new prologue begins in the Orbital Air Station, where V is met by Jackie, Misty and Vik. The screen selection upgrade may be new, but the Fresh Start mod has been one of the most popular for the game since it debuted last year, with over 250,000 downloads to date. If you haven't tried it yet, now is a good time to finally start that “one more” playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077.
This is especially true if you haven't played since Cyberpunk 2077s 2.3 patch, which was followed up by patch 2.31 with additional fixes to AutoDrive, Photo Mode and various missions. This is arguably the best state the game has been in, and with a fully functional mod like Fresh Start with integrated screen selection, there's no breaking your immersion.
It will take a while before that Cyberpunk 2077s sequel is launched, with The Witcher 4 takes precedence over that on CD Projekt Red. It recently shared the plan to release three The Witcher game in 6 years can also bring bad news for future releases about the universe of Cyberpunk 2077so if you're craving something new, Fresh Start has you covered. Even then, you can try many mods if Fresh Start isn't your thing or if you've already played with it.
