ARC Raiders reveal week 10 tryouts

Embark Studios has revealed a new set of Test Challenges for Week 10 ARC Raidersgiving players new objectives to complete if they want to hunt for some extra rewards. For a chance to earn these rewards, players will find themselves facing a variety of different ARC Raidersenemies, including Rocketeers, Shredders, Fireballs and more. Although most of the tests are quite simple, Embark Studios has prepared something special for players who want to play in the snow when they go Topside.

While the best way to acquire valuable loot in ARC Raiders is to go Topside and start clearing, weekly tests give players another way to earn high-value rewards. Embark Studios releases a new set of five challenges every Monday, giving players a full week to collect as much progress as possible. Earning a single star in a challenge will reward players with an uncommon item, while two stars will grant them a rare item. Many players strive to reach three stars, as it rewards players with an epic item. Those who want to go above and beyond can get even more rewards by achieving a higher ranking throughout the season. The higher a player climbs, the better the rewards. While some players have criticized the Trials system for being too repetitive, other fans have said they enjoy having an extra set of goals to chase each week.

ARC Raiders: How To Beat a Shredder

Shredders are one of the most dangerous enemies in ARC Raiders, capable of destroying entire teams in seconds. Learn how to beat them with this guide!

How to complete ARC Raiders Week 10 Trials

  • Throw snowballs at the Rocketeers

  • Deal damage to Shredders

  • Deals damage to flying ARC enemies

  • Open ARC Probes

  • Destroy fireballs

This week's trial has thrown players a bit of a curve, as players aren't asked to simply destroy the Rocketeers in ARC Raidersbut instead throw snowballs at them. It's worth noting that snowballs don't cause damage, which is why fans may have seen snowball fights break out in a match without any players suffering damage. To collect a snowball in the first place, players must load into a map that has the Cold Snap condition active. Once Topside, players can look at the snow-covered ground to collect snowballs and add them to their quick spot. After that, snowballs act like any other throwable object or weapon, allowing players to aim before releasing.

Fortunately, Embark Studios doesn't ask players to throw snowballs at Rocketeers and then run away, as one of the other attempts is to damage flying ARC enemies. It's a nice bit of synergy, which will reward players for following up their snowball with a well-aimed attack. While snowballs can be limited to maps with ARC Raiders' Cold Snap condition, flying ARC enemies can be found almost anywhere, allowing players to progress in this trial wherever they go. Players will also be rewarded for dealing as much damage as possible to Shredders, which tend to be quite plentiful on ARC Raiders' Stella Monti's map. Fans may want to be careful when facing the Shredders, as they have proven to be vicious foes on the battlefield.

Players looking to complete the week 10 tests will also want to search for fireballs and destroy them. Taking damage isn't enough for this challenge, so fans want to make sure they finish the job. While some players choose to avoid Probes in ARC Raiderssince they can be quite noisy and take a while to break, players will open as many as they can get their hands on during the week 10 tests. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ARC Raiders.
