A Minecraft the player has put their building skills to the test by creating a custom adventure map based on Halo series. Although this is a work in progress Minecraft build, it already looks captivating, with many players taking notice.
As one of the best-selling video games of all time, Minecraft attracts all types of players. While some play it as a survival game, others like the building element. Thanks to the many blocks and objects in the Minecraftplayers have created some incredible structures in the game. While some players come with unique designs, others take inspiration from popular media franchises, even other video games.
Big Minecraft Mega Farm Build in Survival Mode has to be seen to be believed
After almost a year of work, a dedicated Minecraft player finishes his incredible mega-farm made in the game's survival mode.
Kalopsia, a Halo adventure map created in Minecraft
One of those players who put one Minecraft twist on another popular game franchise was NexusProxima. In a Reddit post, they shared a look at their adventure map that was based on Halo. Specifically, the world looked like one of the rings seen in the first-person shooter games and also had a huge scope. According to NexusProxima, they have been working on the project “on and off” for 13 years. Although the massive build is still ongoing, they recently shared a new update that was nothing short of incredible.
As can be seen from the screenshots, the player had filled in his Halo map, known as Kalopsia, with terrain one would expect to find on one of the Forerunner-built structures. They also recently shared a YouTube video showing off the latest updates to the build. Many impressive Forerunner buildings dotted the landscape, and there was a place inspired by the Epitaph, a Halo 3 multiplayer map.
Although the project was not finished, NexusProxima shared its PlanetMinecraft page for those who want to download the map. However, players should be aware that the creator eventually intends to add an original story, “focused on mystery and exploration,” which will add a new dynamic to the experience. Additionally, while the map is playable in the base game, several mods are recommended to make the experience more immersive. These include Distant Horizons and BSL Shaders, which should help replicate the look seen in the trailer. NexusProxima included a full list of optional mods on their PlanetMinecraft page.
So far, the response to NexusProxima's original has Minecraft the map has been overwhelmingly positive, with many Reddit users upvoting the post. In the comments, fans applauded the effort put into the design, with many eager to check out the experience. With even more content in the works, it's unclear how long it will take NexusProxima to complete Kalopsia. Although the map uses some data packs and schemes from other creators, NexusProxima is the only one working on the map, which makes their progress even more impressive. “I am very dedicated to this project and will complete it,” they said.
Minecraft players continue to share impressive builds
While NexusProxima continues work on Kalopsia, many other players have created impressive builds. For example, one player recently built an incredible steam locomotive Minecraftspending months adding its intricate parts. Additionally, others have replicated real-world cities and built impressive mega-farms to gather resources.
With Minecraft shows no signs of slowing down, it will be interesting to see what other creations talented players share in the coming days. Mojang released four game releases in 2025, with the most recent being Mounts of Mayhem in December. More game drops are expected in 2026, so time will tell what new content players can use in their builds.
