Best The Forge Armor, Explained
From now on, there are seven armors in The forge (21 pieces in total)which usually includes helmets, chest plates and leggings. You can craft each piece individually by following its respective recipe, which you can also check out in our detailed armor guide here. These are examples of some of the ideal defensive gear for players at every stage of the game.
Armor build in early game
If you are on the starting island, Stonewake's Cross, or complete the first quests in the Forgotten Kingdom, such as Barakulf's Basalt Extraction or Sensei Moro, which involve a lot of grinding and facing lighter enemies, the heavy Knight armor set (Knight helmet, leggings and chest plate) is all you need to put on.
Mid-game Armor Build
Once you tackle mid-level combat-focused missions like Captain Rowen's 1-to-5 or Masked Stranger's Skeletal Threat, you'll need better combat gear. The Dark Knight armor set is your favorite here. You can still handle Captain Rowen's final mission and Amber's Elite Threat with the respective gear (with significant defense stats, of course), but if you've gained access to Frostspire Expanse, try forging and equipping the full Wolf Armor set to prevent Elites and Reapers from eating up massive HP in one hit.
Armor Build in late game
The Wolf helmet, chest plate and leggings are the current armor meta in The forgeand they help you get through the playoffs with ease. However, be sure to create masterpiece quality plays with 500+ defensive stats for maximum benefit. Simply visit the Enhancer's Shop and upgrade them with essences dropped by enemies.
