“Friendslop” games have become all the rage in recent years. The term doesn't imply that the games in question are poorly made (although some are intentionally rough around the edges as part of their charm), as there are some quality titles that fit the bill. Friendship games are essentially viral co-op titles popularized by streamers that guarantee a good time with friends. Human Fall Flat got the ball rolling in 2016, but these games have only grown in popularity as streaming has taken off. Think Chained together, Liar's Bar, Schedule 1and the ever-popular TOP. While it can be difficult to predict which co-op games will take off, the Steam title Crashout Crew seems like it's in a good place to do so.
A good recipe for friendship is deceptively challenging gameplay, either through clunky controls or silly physics, because it produces unexpected results and plenty of humorous moments. Gang Beasts and Party Animals have this in spades, and happily it seems Crashout Crew will tick that box. On top of that, this Steam title's focus on forklifts should please any meme lover, as players can become forklift certified by working together to complete tasks in this “busy” four-player game. Since the developer behind the project has a notable connection to the current king of friends, this title should be on the wish list of anyone who regularly plays games with a group of friends.
While Crashout Crew had a demo in October, this has since been taken down. The game is now listed as “Coming Soon” on its Steam page, with an early 2026 release window looking likely.

As the title suggests, this entertaining indie game from developer Aggro Crab deliberately tries to make players crash. Although transferring boxes and other objects with a forklift may seem easy on paper, Crashout Crew purposely making it harder for players at every turn. For starters, the physics system will see players' forklifts spin if they make a bad move, potentially sending them crashing into their friends and causing even more mayhem. Crates and objects can explode if hit instead of carefully picked up, dropping cargo like chickens and destroying deliveries. Just as small mistakes can be catastrophic in TOPthe same logic applies to Crashout Crew. Players may pass boxes between each other instead of lending a hand to help each other take a mountain, but good chemistry is just as important to success.
It is worth noting that Aggro Crab, the team behind this game, served as one of the publishers for TOP. As such, it will certainly be well aware of how to make a game where mistakes and success stories are equally memorable. For example, failure in Crashout Crew resulting in workers having to pay damages, which means they lose money that could be used for upgrades, adding to the stress players are under. Similar Overcookedanother cooperative game designed to keep players on top of things, players must call out order information to their colleagues at the other end of the warehouse, and those workers must then make the trip through the building with the requested move in tow. However, this is easier said than done, as well Crashout Crew features a mechanic that will make the shifts significantly tougher and guaranteed to catch players off guard.
Security Breach is Crashout Crews Spin on PEAK's Daily Islands
While Crashout Crew may not have randomized islands every day which TOP Aggro Crab aims to keep players engaged by shaking up levels with random hazards. These include icy floors that will force players to lose control of their forklifts if they're not careful, as well as blackout moments where the warehouse goes completely dark. Naturally, when a security breach comes in, things get even more chaotic, and fulfilling orders for DE NILE SHIPPING becomes as stressful as it is fun. Thanks to security breaches, Crashout Crew should have some surprising longevity just like what TOP have experienced, keeping a fairly simple concept fun and replayable. Sure, someone in the group of friends is bound to crash out when they lose control of their forklift, break a box needed for delivery, or get lost in the dark, but that's exactly what co-op fans will be hoping for when they give this upcoming Steam release a try.
