One Punch Man's fall from grace has indeed been sad. The first season (of Madhouse) of the anime was incredible, and has been talked about for years. Unfortunately, it was followed by a lackluster second season. But fans were still hopeful OPM's the third season would be different.
Of course, the studio was under a lot of pressure to deliver a better third season. Yet JC Staff failed to deliver again, leading to an overwhelmingly negative response online.

OPM season 3 part 2 will be released in 2027
On December 28, 2025, One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 Officially Announced. That was also confirmed OPM season 3 part 2 will be released in 2027and it will once again be produced by JC Staff. Before the announcement, fans were hoping that the next season/episode would be tackled by another project. There were even rumors that Madhouse would return and produce the sequel.
Unfortunately, JC Personnel will continue to serve. So there's every chance that the next installment could be as awful as the last two. One thing fans should do is remain respectful of the staff and everyone else involved in the project. Regardless of the outcome, fans should not harass the employees of social networking sites, especially when they have been set up to fail.
However, there is a small chance that JC Staff can get the next installment right, as the studio has more than a year to finish production. With enough time and resources, the studio could deliver an adaptation that fans will remember for years to come.
One Punch Man season 3 was a huge failure
One Punch Man's third season did terribly, and it wasn't just because of the below average animation. No. There were several factors for its poor performance. For one thing, the animation was way off, and it felt like the studio hadn't put any effort into it. Second, there were certain times in episodes where sequences looked more like a slideshow.
Finally, the third season of One Punch Man had absurd censorship. All of these reasons led to One Punch Man Season 3 flopping horribly and receiving a rating lower than 5 on MyAnimeList.
