If you've been living under a rock and aren't familiar with streamers doing something for content, then Pokemon Legends: ZA is about to learn firsthand the importance of those sweet, sweet opinions. Canary is busy trying to find new ways to get her chat some new content, and she needs your help to make it happen.
All you have to do is try to avoid getting KO'd for 30 seconds – easy, right? Well, it's not as straightforward as it seems, so we've got some essential tips and tricks to help you survive this all-out Pokémon mayhem.
How to start “Be a defenseless dodger!”
Your first step is to unlock access to Side Mission 173: 'Be A Defenseless Dodger!' by completing Hyperspace Mission 9: Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No.5, which requires you defeat Canari and Ivor. Once you defeat the dynamic duo, a host of new side quests will become available across Lumiose City, including this one.
Next, fast travel to Racine construction on South Boulevard, just southeast of Wild Zone 17, and enter. Once inside you will find Canary sitting at her computer in the back right corner of the first floor.
Talk to her and she will explain all about her Defenseless Dodger challenge, including a catch. You have to survive for 30 seconds against a group of Pokemon without using any Pokemon or Poke Balls of your own.
How to survive during 'Be a defenseless dodger!
With the gauntlet down, Canari gives you some time to prepare for this difficult challenge, so take advantage of it by prepare yourself with an important item.
Go out again Racine Construction, where you will find a worker who offers a variety of Canary plushies in exchange for your colorful screws.
You should max out Green Canary Plush if you haven't already. This plush lets you sustain more damage from opposing Pokemon without blackout, basically gives you more HP.
While it's not absolutely necessary to have your Green Canary plush maxed out, it will help make this challenge a lot easier, especially if you've collected all the colorful screws and have some left over.
Once your Green Canary Plus has been raised as much as you can, you are ready to take on Canari's Defensless Dodger challenge.
The clock will start in 30 seconds, and a group of Pokemon including a Raichu, Ampharos, and Hippowdon will start attacking you with moves like Hyper Beam, Rock Slide, Swift and Earthquake.
One of them best trick to survive is to fight attacks while you are in one of the the four corners of the room. If timed correctly, this should cause most of the Pokémon to unleash their attacks on that corner.
Before they attack you should run and dodge right through the middle of the arena, so most of their attacks are full swing.
Hippowdon's Earthquake is a bit harder to avoid, so stay away from that attack, and the rest should miss as well.
If you feel uncomfortable with risky timing, keep moving and runs around the arena and follows the outer edge of the room. Doing this makes it difficult for the attacking Pokemon to track you down, as any of them their attacks should be aimed at where you just were, rather than where you should be.
You will definitely get hit a few times, but don't give up if your screen turns red. Just keep moving, and you should be able to last the 30 seconds before the Pokemon can connect with enough attacks to knock you out.

When the time is up, Canari will call out and praise you for your quick escape skills, then offer you the following rewards as thanks for helping her maintain her chat:
