Like any work of art, there are many more layers Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Art is a reflection of the people who created it, and when you peel back the layers of color, you find evidence of its creation and the many emotions that are contained within it.
It can be very heartfelt and serious, yes, but it can also be lighthearted and whimsical, and that's exactly what Verso's draft is. In this deep part of the screen you will find countless Gestrals playing and having fun. Though Gestrals are also, well, a bit destructive, and one lost his pirate ship in a tidal wave at the waterfall.
Learn about the lost pirate ship
Many of the Gestrals in Verso's draft tend to be huddled together in a few fixed locations. This trio of make-believe aspirants can be found south of the springboard minigameand pretty close to the seesaw minigame too. You can find this trio, two small Gestrals and a larger one, huddled in the water near dry land.
Chat with them to find out that they are currently engaged in what they call a treasure hunt, although it's really more of a rescue mission. While playing with his pirate ship, the great Gestral, not knowing his own strength, created some rather rocky waves, sending the ship hurtling down the waterlost to the Gestrals.

Finding the missing pirate ship
After talking to the Gestrals, despite apparently not knowing where the pirate ship is, they give you some pretty crucial information, which is that after it's taken by the waves, it fell down the waterfall.
And there just happens to be another waterfall just south of here. So follow it and drop down right in front of it. In front of you comes another shallow pool of water, and not a toy pirate ship in sight. Unless you were to turn around.
If you look through that waterfall, you might see some objects behind it. Really, every game needs a secret waterfall caveand Clair Obscur got his own in Versos Drafts. The toy pirate ship itself is quite large, so it's pretty much impossible to miss once you enter this cave.
After you collect it, go back to the trio of Gestrals who will be overjoyed and will reward you with a piece of birthday cake.
