The Winter Holiday event part 1 i Pokémon GO is here to help get us all in the festive spirit, with Christmas dress versions of new Pokemon to add to our collections, exclusive event bonuses, a new GO Pass, changes to the 7km egg pool and more.

Here are all the field research tasks and what they reward in Winter Holiday Part 1:

Winter Holiday Part 1 Event Guide in Pokemon GO

Winter vacation part 1 runs from 18 December at 10.00 local time, until 24.12. at 10.00 local time. From event bonuses, to wild spawns, to new Pokemon, here's everything you need to know about the Winter Holiday Part 1 event in Pokémon GO.

New Pokemon

Here's how to get all the new costumed Pokemon that appear during Holiday Part 1:

Event bonuses

During winter break Part 1 there is a increased chance to hatch shiny Pichu with a festive hat and a shiny Cubchoo with a Christmas ribbon from 7km Eggs.

Other event bonuses are only activated when you reach Major Milestones on GO Pass: Winter Holiday 2025. These GO Pass bonuses are:

Wild encounters

The Pokémon you can catch via wild encounters during Holiday Part 1 are:

• Alolan Vulpix

• Swinub

• Delibird

• Snorunt

• Spheal

• Snow

• Galarian Darumaka

• Holiday clothing Sudowoodo

• Holiday clothing Charjabug

You can also encounter all of these Pokémon in their shiny forms, if you're lucky.

Egg

Here's what can be hatched from eggs at 7km during winter break part 1:

• Festive hat Pichu

• Smooch

• Holiday Ribbon Cubchoo

• Cryogonal

• Snom

All of these Pokemon can be shiny except Snom.

Raider

The Pokemon that appear during three-star raids during Holiday Part 1 are:

• Holiday clothing Sudowoodo

• Holiday clothing Charjabug

• Hisuian Avalug

Everything else we know about Winter Holiday Part 1

There will be two new avatar items available for purchase from the in-game store during Winter Holiday Part 1: Charjabug Bag and Sudowoodo Holiday Sweater.

In addition, GO Pass: Winter Holiday 2025 runs from the start of Holiday Part 1 (December 18 at 10am local time) to December 29 at 10.00 local time. It's five days after the end date of the Winter Holiday Part 1 event. The regular GO Pass is free for anyone to join, but the GO Pass Deluxe costs $7.99.

You can earn the following rewards from the regular GO Pass:

• Meeting with Snom

• Event themed Pokémon encounters

• Stardust

• XP

• Poking balls

• Candy

And here's what you can earn with the Deluxe GO Pass:

• Snom beanie

• Additional encounters with even more event-themed Pokémon

• Premium Battle Pass

• Rare Candy XL

• Candy XL

Remember to claim your GO Pass rewards before 23:59 local time on December 29th or they will expire.
