How to cure cold damage in ARC Raiders (Cold Snap Map Condition)

Snow Accumulation Cold Snap ARC Raiders

Players can take cold damage in the Cold Snap map condition i ARC Raiders if they stay in the open for around one minute and thirty-five seconds (1m 35s). During this time, the snow will slowly begin to accumulate in your raider, and they will begin to shiver in the cold before finally taking constant damage to their health bar (one hp per tick every second).

Thaw Cold Snap ARC Raiders

After suffering from frostbite, there are two courses of action players can take.

Either you continue to use bandages, Vita Spray or Vita Shots to maintain refill your health bar. However, this is only a short term solution as you will continue to receive tick damage every second you are out in the cold.

The second and intended way to cure frostbite ARC Raiders is that simply take cover in a building or structure with roof. You will know your raider is in a hot area when they breathe an audible sigh of relief. Once you step out into the cold again, your raider will gasp in discomfort, indicating that the frostbite damage has started again.

You can visually see the snow build up on your raider, indicating how much the cold damage has built up. When you take refuge in a shelter, the snow will slowly melt away, and the harmful ticks will stop immediately.

Combat MK2

To counteract the loss of HP, you have to take a lot of healing items such as bandages, herbal bandages, sterilized bandages, Vita Shots or a Vita Spray with you.

Alternatively, you can equip Combat MK.2 Augmentwhich will passively regenerate one HP per five seconds, assuming you haven't taken damage from any sources (freeze ticks count as damage). This will be incredibly useful for restoring your HP bar once you've taken cover, saving you the trouble of eating through your healing stash.

Quick Remove Frostbite Cold Snap ARC Raiders

If you are stuck in the open and want to immediately remove Frostbite in ARC Raidersyou can set your raider on fire. No, it's not a joke, hear me out. You can activate a Baron Husk and step into its flame, or simply rely on a throwable like a Blaze Grenade or a Fireball Burner.

As soon as your raider catches fire, let it extinguish itself and use instant healing items and a shield charger to restore lost HP. While this may be counterintuitive, it will immediately remove the freeze-damaging ticks and allow your raider to travel further in the open without needing cover.

Setting your raider on fire will damage your shield's durability. Only use this method to remove freeze ticks if you have a durability above 50 to avoid damaging it beyond repair.
