PlayStation Plus Subscribers now have eight more games to look forward to in the Extra tier and one more to look forward to in the Premium tier. The extra tier of PlayStation Plus is the middle tier of the service, giving subscribers access to the monthly free games that make up the Essential tier along with a large library of PS4 and PS5 titles. The Premium tier adds retro games to the mix and ultimately gives subscribers the most bang for their buck.
December 2025 has already been busy for PS Plus subscribers across all tiers, with more Essential tier free games than usual. Currently, PS Plus subscribers across Essential, Extra and Premium can claim Killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Neon white, Synduality: Echo of Adaand The Outlast Trials completely free of charge.

PlayStation is officially releasing the latest PS Plus Essential games for December 2025, but some subscribers are getting shortchanged.
What's strange is that it's not just that LEGO Horizon Adventures one of the free PS Plus games for December 2025, it has also been confirmed for the Extra library and will make its debut on Tuesday, December 16. LEGO Horizon Adventures was confirmed for the Extra level along with Assassin's Creed Mirage, Cat Quest 3, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, Paw Patrol World, Planet Coaster 2and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. PS Plus Premium subscribers can look forward to these games plus the PlayStation 2 version of popular fighting games Soulcalibur 3.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is the headliner when it comes to the new PS Plus Extra games for December 2025. A throwback to the old Assassin's Creed game, Mirage received mostly positive reviews upon its release. Other notable new additions include Cat Quest 3a fun co-op action RPG, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynastya challenging Soulslike that first came to the scene in 2023.
PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to play these games starting December 16, which will mark the Extra tier's second update of the month. Skating history was added to PS Plus Extra as a Day One game on December 8, giving subscribers the chance to play a critically acclaimed game on the day of its release.
