Red Dead Redemption 2 pack hits lowest price ever on PS Store

PlayStation users can currently download Red Dead Redemption package with 60% discount. The promotional offer, valid until mid-December 2025, bundles some of the highest-rated PlayStation games ever made at the lowest price ever on the PS Store.

Originally launched in 2010, Red Dead Redemption made a comeback in August 2023 and was released digitally for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Coinciding with that debut, Rockstar released a franchise pack that bundles the PS4 version of the game with Red Dead Redemption 2. The two-pack cost $99.99, $10 less than buying the included titles separately, providing a compelling entry point to the series for players new to either game.

RDR + RDR2 bundle gets its first ever 60% discount on the PS Store

The Red Dead Redemption bundle received a 60% discount on the PlayStation Store in early December 2025, dropping to $39.99. The offer is valid until December 15 at 11:59 PM PT. While the two-pack has been temporarily discounted over a dozen times since August 2023, the ongoing promotion marks its lowest price ever on Sony's digital storefront and a $5 improvement over its previous best price. None of the included titles are currently on sale separately via the PS Store. But also go off the steepest individual discounts on Red Dead Redemption games to date, the current price of the bundle matches the sum of the included titles' lowest prices ever.

The RDR1 PS4/5 version is full of content, but with a catch

As for what's actually on offer here, the first series entry included in the package is content-packed, at least from a single-player perspective. Buyers get both the base game and Red Dead Redemptions popular zombie expansion Undead Nightmarewith select bonuses from the title's GOTY edition also part of the pack, introducing some extra outfits and minor side content. There's a catch here though: nothing multiplayer related is included, since the PS4/5 version of Red Dead Redemption does not have the online component of the PS3 original, which was conceptually similar to Free Mode i GTA 4 onlineonly without character adaptation.

The two-pack version of RDR2 isn't content complete, but that doesn't really matter

Conversely, the version of Red Dead Redemption 2 included in the two-pack is not complete. However, the differences between the base game and its higher-level releases are relatively minor compared to its predecessors. Story Mode gets a single bank robbery mission, while the remaining extras consist of another horse, saddle, talisman, outfit, and several weapons, plus some game boosts and discounts. In other words, nothing that adds significant new content in the way Undead Nightmare do for the original Red Dead Redemption.

The ongoing sale at Red Dead Redemption the package is live globally. While the Xbox consoles and PC have both received the same two-pack, only the PlayStation version of the bundle is currently on sale. Based on Rockstar's recent track record and typical promotional patterns, it's unlikely that the bundle will drop below this price level before mid-2026. However, the current 60% discount may return once or twice before then.

One thing that makes this two-pack slightly less attractive to some PlayStation users is Red Dead Redemptions most recent launch on PS Plus, which occurred on December 2. Since then, PS Plus Extra and Premium members have been able to play Rockstar's iconic games at no extra cost as part of their subscriptions.
