A couple of majors Xbox games have seen their release windows leaked, with both games rumored to launch sometime next year. While there's still a month left in 2025, Xbox already looks set to have a packed schedule in 2026 with plenty of high-profile releases on the way. A plethora of big games have already seen their release dates revealed, such as 007 First light, Resident Evil Requiem, Code Vein 2and easily the biggest release of the year with Grand Theft Auto 6 coming on November 19, 2026. Now, two first-party Xbox games have seen their release windows leaked in advance.
Xbox Game Studios has plenty of notable games in the pipeline for 2026, featuring some of the developer's most beloved franchises. Microsoft previously confirmed that they were working on a remake of the original Halo with Halo: Campaign Evolvedwhich not only brings back the classic game but acts like the first Halo games on a PlayStation console. The studio is loved Forza racing series will also get a new release with Forza Horizon 6alongside the revival of Fable franchise after more than a decade. Some new Xbox rumors now hint at release windows for both of the latest Forza and a brand new IP from Xbox.

Forza Horizon 6 and Clockwork Revolution release Windows
A couple of recent updates hint at the release windows for both Forza Horizon 6 and Xbox subsidiary inXile Entertainment's new IP, Clockwork Revolution. A post shared by prominent leaker NatetheHate hints at the “target” for the newest Forza game, with Forza Horizon 6 reportedly slated to launch in the first half of 2026. The post specifically confirms that the recent delay of GTA 6 to the end of 2026 had no impact on the racing game's expected release. Fans have also spotted a potential clue to the release window for Clockwork Revolutionwith former inXile Entertainment writer Nathan Long noting Clockwork Revolution as one of their projects for 2026 on LinkedIn.
While Microsoft has yet to showcase any official game for the Forza Horizon 6Xbox has given plenty of hints about the latest game. Forza Horizon 6 will be set primarily in Japan, with players able to visit locations such as Mount Fuji, Hokkaido and Tokyo, with the in-game map said to be the franchise's largest yet. Microsoft has also highlighted some of the contrasting locations that players will be able to visit within Forza Horizon 6with mountain paths and open roads opposite Tokyo's dense urban environments. Much like the fifth game, Forza Horizon 6 was also confirmed to be coming to PS5. Meanwhile, Xbox's other major release window leak brings a whole new adventure to the table.
Clockwork Revolution will be far from the first time inXile has partnered with Xbox Game Studios. inXile was officially acquired by Microsoft in 2018 along with the Xbox developer's purchase of Obsidian Entertainment, which now operates as a subsidiary of Xbox. Clockwork Revolution will debut as a new action RPG for the studio, set in a steampunk city based on Victorian-era England. The game is said to have time manipulation as one of its major mechanics, and mixes first-person shooter gameplay with a variety of steampunk gadgets.
Could Forza Horizon 6 or Clockwork Revolution appear at TGA?
The potential release windows for Forza Horizon 6 and Clockwork Revolution could hint at their appearances at a particular major event. The 2025 Game Awards ceremony will air on December 11, with the annual presentation usually featuring a plethora of new teasers and trailers for upcoming games.
