Drivable resuscitation vans and self-resuscitation can be added Fortnite when it launches Chapter 7, according to new information from a popular leaker. Fortnite is constantly expanding with added content and collaborations, but if these new features are true, it could change the pace of the game going forward.
The latest collaboration between Fortnite and The Simpsons has been one of the more successful crossover seasons for the game, with old and new players diving into the fictional town of Springfield. The crossover event even has its own animated short on Disney+. And while more collaborations are on the horizon, Epic Games is adding new gameplay features Fortnite can change how players run their map rotations.
New gameplay features leaked for Fortnite Chapter 7
According to NotPaloLeaks on Twitter, Fortnite Chapter 7 may include drivable restart cars and self-revival. Restart vans in Fortnite used in team modes to allow players to revive their fallen teammates. It gives teams a chance to move forward with all of their teammates to have a better chance at a Victory Royale. But the vans are normally scattered all over the map, and players have to hope they don't run into other teams looking for an easy kill (or other teams heading for the same van). Being able to drive the van around can change the pace of the game, as teams may be able to revive more often.
Reviving yourself in battle royale games is not uncommon, but the feature has been controversial in games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone. Although there's no word yet on how the feature will work Fortnitein other games, players would need to have a special item in order to revive themselves, and it was normally a slow and laborious process. More often than not, players would still be killed by the opposing team, but hiding in the right bush or behind a match could give players enough time to get back into the fight.
This is one of many leaks leading up to Chapter 7 Fortnite fans are looking forward to. In addition, it was recently leaked that a new wave of Stranger Things cosmetics could come to Fortniteas well as possible collaborations with Harry Potter and Spongebob Squarepants. For now, players can still enter the world of Springfield, which The Simpsons the crossover event runs through November 29.
