Leaper, formerly known as Bison, is one of the larger ARC machines roaming the Rust Belt in ARC Raiders. One of the deadly attacks involves jumping from great distances and dealing a crushing blow to players, often knocking them out in one hit. Players will eventually need to defeat a Leaper and obtain the Leaper Pulse Unit from its body to spawn and complete the Into the Fray quest. Here's how to easily destroy a Leaper and salvage its parts.
Where to find Leapers (Bison) in ARC Raiders (Into the Fray)
Dam Battlegrounds is a map that players will be most familiar with, and two confirmed locations always spawn a Leaper in it ARC Raiders. One of the sites is just east of Hydroponic Dome Complexand the other is close Lift for control of water purification. There's a good chance you'll find a Leaper in either or both of these locations in a match.
Before starting a raid and entering a match, make sure to bring the following equipment to defeat a Leaper in ARC Raiders made easy. This list will contain some of the more commonly available gear, but feel free to equip higher level gear if you have access to it (as it will bring a Leaper down faster).

Clean |
Both support Heavy-Ammo, which offers high ARC armor penetration. You must have one of them in your weapons, or a better weapon with a higher ARC armor penetration stat. |

Secondary weapon |
Some |
You can take any secondary weapon with the primary, as long as it can do medium to long range damage. Arpeggio is my personal choice in this category, but feel free to choose whichever weapon you're more comfortable with. If you have a Hullcracker it will be much easier to take down the Leaper. |

Benefit |
Blaze Grenades |
You should have at least three Blaze Grenades in your inventory. The simple method that will be shown in the next section depends on it. Players can find Blaze while looting, or craft it (blueprint required) at a level 3 Explosive Station with 1x Explosive Compound and 2x Oil. |
How to get Leaper Pulse Unit in ARC Raiders (Easy/Cheese Method)
When you find a Leaper (Bison) roaming in one of these areas, you must first find a safe place before starting the attack. For example, you can place yourself inside the doorway to the Domes if a Leaper is spawning near the Hydroponic Dome Complex, or inside the Field Depot near the Water Treatment Elevator if you end up fighting a Leaper there.
If there are any other ARC drones in the area, such as wasps or hornets, be sure to take them out first before engaging the Leaper ARC Raiders.
Once you've found a hideout, shoot the Leaper in its eye with a heavy ammo compatible weapon, such as Ferro or Anvil. This will attract the Leaper to your location, but it cannot enter smaller spaces, so you will be safe in your hiding place.
Start the fight with throws a blade grenade aimed at the runner's eye to start burning it. While it's burning, keep shooting the eye with your weapons. When a Blaze Grenade goes off, you can throw another one and burn it. Blaze Grenades are very effective against Leapers, as fire is their main weakness.
Leaper may try to retreat during combat, so you can chase it while being on guard for its jump and EMP surge attacks. After landing enough shots (with Heavy Ammo) at the Leaper's eye while it burns, it will eventually be destroyed.
After taking down the Leaper, first try looting its destroyed eye part get the Leaper Pulse Unit in ARC Raiders. Be sure to immediately store it in your Safe Pocket, so you don't have to worry about it not coming back to Speranza if something bad happens to your raider during the draw. Now you can either use it as crafting components or complete the quest Into the Fray ARC Raiders.
