Luffy's next reward after Elbaf has already been decided by Oda

One Piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, and so far it's been filled with nothing but excitement and revealed great lore. Considering the pace at which Elbaf is going, you can safely say that the arc will end within two yearswith Oda's breaks in mind. After Rock's Flashback, Elbaf will edge closer to the end. With the end of Elbaf, fans will once again see some massive revelations, and among them will be large bounty reveals.

If there's one thing fans are always waiting for, it's new rewards. While not every arc ushers in new rewards, Elbaf definitely will. Considering that the Holy Knights and Imu themselves are the threats, Luffy will get his last bounty update since Wanopushing him from a 3 billion reward, to a new figure, which will likely be around 4 billion. Luffy will reach new heights, but he won't be the only one, as all the other Yonkos are also set for a big price increase.

Luffy's Next Bounty will surpass the 4 billion mark

Luffy had humble beginnings in East Blue, where he received his first ever reward after defeating Arlong. His first reward was 30,000,000 berriesand it has grown tremendously since then. Luffy's bounty has consistently upgraded with each new big bad he takes down, and he reached his current peak after the battle on Onigashima, where he took down Kaido. His bounty skyrocketed to 3 billion berriesbut it's a long way from where it really could be.

Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are currently on Elbaf, which they managed to reach after leaving Egghead, and their next price increase is likely to come soon. After Elbaf runs out, Luffy's reward will most likely increase. Fans expect another increase of at least one billion, which would put Luffy at 4 billion+ berries. Luffy will get this boost by clashing with Imu and possibly hitting them in Gunko's body, or hitting someone like Domi Reversi'd Loki. This strict defiance of the world government will put a bigger target on his back.

With all that said, Luffy won't be the only Yonko whose bounty will grow. All other Yonko are also set for a price increase. Buggy, with his Cross Guild, causes chaos and even has killed Vice Admiral T-Bone recently. Their threats can no longer be ignored and they may soon receive new rewards.

Blackbeard, meanwhile, may be behind the big attack on Marijoa. More than that, he recently captured Garp, and his crew all said they wanted higher rewards. Learn to get a new reward is a guarantee.

As for Shanks, fans don't really know what he's up to at the moment, but it's known that he's making a move. This move can also lead to a price jump where he surpasses the rewards of previous Yonko Kaido and Big Mom.

Luffy's Final Bounty will be even higher

5.6 billion would make sense

4 billion berries is very high for a reward for Luffy, and it would put him on par with the average Yonko. But 4 billion will not be his peak i One Piece. Luffy's final reward will be much higher than that, and knowing Oda's love of puns and number games, it's almost a given that Luffy's reward will be around 5.6 billion.

56 is Luffy's iconic number which spells the word “Gomu.” 5.6 billion also makes a lot of sense since Roger's reward is just below that, at 5,564,800,000 berries.

5.6 billion would earn Luffy the most wanted man in the worldas befits the future pirate king and the man who will fight and take down Imu.
