Phasmophobia gets a new map, Nell's Diner, on November 11th. The upcoming level will be highlighted Phasmophobia14th map.
Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games originally revealed Nell's Diner in early August 2025. Designed in the style of a long-abandoned retro diner, the map was described as smaller in scale. At the time, the UK studio said it was targeting a late 2025 launch, without committing to a more precise timeframe.
Phasmophobia's Nell's Diner gets release date and new trailer
Two and a half months later, Kinetic has now replaced the vague launch window with a concrete release date – November 11, revealed via a new trailer. As has been the case with everyone before Phasmophobia content drops, Nell's Diner will be a completely free addition to the game. It will come in the form of an update that will be released on the same day on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Size-wise, Nell's Diner is comparable to smaller Phasmophobia maps such as 10 Ridgeview Court, 6 Tanglewood Drive and 42 Edgefield Road. This should make it as accessible as possible, as the size of a level is proportional to the average length of a given ghost hunt. The prevailing perception among the fandom is that while larger maps like Prison and Asylum are just as atmospheric as their smaller counterparts, the added search radius often makes them more annoying than terrifying as players search for clues, often running out of Sanity before their investigation really gets going.
Nell's Diner should be free of such problems, as it consists of only a few compact sub-rooms, including the dining area, pantry, and kitchen. Elaborating on the decision to design such a level, Kinetic Games director Daniel Knight revealed that Phasmophobia the team had long considered a creepy diner a perfect thematic fit for the game. “Besides the farm reworks from this year, Nell's is an example of how we want all maps in Phasmophobia to feel forward,” the lead developer said in a prepared statement. “It's unique and has been carefully crafted to tell more of a story to our players—beyond the immediate ghost they're chasing.”

Nell's Diner is one of the last remaining items from PhasmophobiaThe 2025 content roadmap that has yet to materialize. After its November 11 launch, Kinetic is expected to focus on finishing the game's annual holiday season. Based on the studio's announcement cadence, the 2026 roadmap could be teased around Christmas, but it's unlikely to be fully revealed before late January or early February. Even if Phasmophobia still does not have a firm 1.0 release date, it is expected to leave early access in the near future, possibly before its sixth anniversary in September 2026. Kinetic previously suggested that the game will continue to receive content updates after leaving early access, although their frequency and scope may decrease.
