One of the first obstacles you encounter Pokemon Legends: ZA is that there are a bunch of boulders that block roads and prevent you from accessing areas you desperately want to get into. Fortunately, the solution does not present themselves so long.
You will soon meet Mable, a researcher who will offer you lots of requests to complete, and in return you will be rewarded with some very sought after objects, where the very first reward is Rock Smash, and lots of later rewards are also very valuable.
How does Mable's research work?
After Urbain introduces you to the mechanics of catching Pokemon and you are asked to go and receive your reward to catch five Pokémon, You will meet Mable soon. She needs help with her research and by To complete her requests earn pointsWhich then goes towards increasing your research level. When you Reach a new research level, you will earn a reward.
Requests are added regularly throughout the game, so you get some pop-up when this happens, so keep checking back for more. We update this guide when we discover more requests.
There are some remarkable rewards worthwhile to have: Rock Smash, Surf, Master Ball and The Shiny Charm, To name the top level.
How to use Rock Smash
Go into your Satchel and choose rock smashAnd then Choose a compatible pokemon (Those with checkmarks below them can learn it) to teach them the move.
When your Pokemon knows the move, get it out of its poke ball and approach a boulder, focus in That you would do when attacking another pokemon, and Choose Rock Smash. Rock was gone!
Rock Smash is not a one -time article, so don't worry about teaching it to a Pokémon that you don't plan to keep in your party.

Pokemon caught before unlocking the catch requests is not counted because it is completed. For example, Pokémon that you can capture in the tutorial before you meet Mabel will not register against the catching requests.
