Fortnite's edited peace maker Mote is not going well with players

There were panic stations at Fortnite HQ a couple of weeks ago when a season two peacemakers reveal led epic managers to believe that DC and James Gunn had snuck a secret swastika in their game. After conversations between everyone involved, the offensive motion has returned to the game, and even though they are “fixed”, players still want repayments.

The disclosure at the end of peacemaker episode six was that John Cena character had unconsciously tried to start a new life in an alternative dimension where the Nazis won the World War. The assumption after that reveals was that the dance under the opening credits may have frightened that reveal, as there is a movement when characters make a shape with their arms that that type looks like a swastika.

That was what caused panic on Epic when the dance was added to Fortnite weeks before to celebrate the launch of peacemaker season two. Epic issued a statement and noted why The Emot was drawn, and a few days later, players informed that a changed version of the dance would return to the game. Now the adjusted version of Peacemaker is season two dance here, and players do not like it.

To prevent the motion from looking a bit like a swastika, it has been edited so that the peace maker throws both arms at the same time, which he bends, instead of swinging them in opposite directions. The change has not gone well with those who bought the motion and are waiting to find out what Epics fix would be.

Those who bought the moten were given the opportunity to request a refund while the motion changed, and now it is back, some who were still wanting their money back. “Wow, they did such a good job of destroying the moten. Immediate refund,” published a person on Twitter. “It's stupid, there was no need for a change,” reads another reaction.

The first proposal from a lot of Fortnite-playing PeaCemaker fans was that the moten would be replaced with an excerpt from the superior dance routine used in the season's opening credits. Sure, it would have taken much more work and effort, but it would have been a very popular decision and would almost certainly have resulted in fewer repayments, if it is still an option now that the changed motion has returned to the game.

It has been a tough week for Fortnite customer service. It is not only flooded by repayment requests even after doing what it considers to be the right thing when it comes to peacemaker situation, but it has supported the heads with Doja Cat, which claimed that it tweeted things without their permission during a takeover of Fortnite's Twitter account.
