Smaller spoilers for Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village follow.
A new interview with the developers of Resident Evil Requiem has revealed that the game almost put the new protagonist, Grace, through one of the worst moments that Ethan Winters had to experience in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The detail was revealed together with some other comments about how the developers work to form Resident Evil Requiem without trying to reinforce the action of Resident Evil Village.
In terms of being a survival horror series, Resident evil Have gone through ups and downs during their 30 years. Resident Evil 4 was the first game to move away from the classic formula, with Resident Evil 5 and 6 moving in a clearly more action -oriented direction. The answer to Resident Evil 6In particular, the action was negative enough for the franchise swung and went back to intense survival fright, began with Resident Evil 7.
Grace lost almost a bit of herself in Resident Evil Requiem
In a conversation with IGN, Resident Evil Requiem Director Koshi Nakanishi and producer Masato Kumazama sat down to talk about the game and its direction. One element that was erected is that the developers at one time considered having Grace losing a leg, similar to how Ethan loses a hand in Resident Evil 7. Koshi Nakanishi explained that the team was looking for ways to make the game scary and talked about the perception of grace that had a serious leg ulcer or lost a leg that was completely “so scary”, but that they withdrew from the idea before it ever made it into the game's actual development process.
Fans of Resident Evil 7 Will be remembered that Ethan's hand will eventually be taken back by the Baker family through a stack gun. It is also possible for him to lose a leg in the game, which he can fix himself by putting it back on the stump and pouring a first aid with over the wound. But given that Ethan also went through something similar in Resident Evil VillagePlayers may have had a more blunt reaction to seeing it happen again, rather than finding it scary.
While this special scary concept did not enter the game, it seems as if there is plenty of frights in Resident Evil Requiem. Players will be able to customize Frigghts slightly through Resident Evil Requiem Offers third person and first person's views, so players can either choose to have a more disconnected, over-axis experience or put themselves right in Grace's shoes with a first personal perspective. Much about the game, including Leon's potential commitment, remains a mystery, but early impressions seem to indicate that the game will be very scary, at least.
