PlayStation 5 Pro to report new SKU

Right now we are fast approaching the one-year brand since Sony first released Playstation 5 Pro, Mid-Generation Console Refresh which brought some more fleshier specifications and a loaded SSD. Before the anniversary, it seems that a new PS5 Pro will enter the market, or at least another SKU variation.

As first discovered by Insider Gaming, via a report from Dealabs, a Playstation 5 Pro with the model number CFI-7121 will reportedly be launched in Europe on September 30. According to the report, the console will have some “improvements”, although it is unclear what exactly these improvements are.

Since the console will retain the same external design, it is unlikely that it is a “narrow” variety. For what it is worth, to speak as the owner of one, PS5 Pro, as it is currently designed, it is not so beef that a “narrow” version would be a necessary improvement.

What is clear, however, is that this “new” version of the PS5 Pro will retain its 2TB SSD storage. It will also seem to retain its price point of € 799.99, so whatever improvements will not be so marketing better, otherwise there would be a price increase.

Sony has already tipped with the base PS5 once this year

Perhaps most interesting with this rumored new version of the PS5 Pro is the fact that it will keep the same baseline 2TB SSD storage, as well as its enthusiast prize. This is because earlier this year a new version of Base PS5 Slim was released, but it wore some major warnings.

Unlike the existing PS5 Slim, this new model decreased from a 1TB SSD to 850 GB. It also detailed at the same price, which made the savings against storage decreased non -existent.

Which means, if the storage is not cut and the price remains, what will really distinguish this CF-7121 from what players already have access to? Without any official word, it seems that we have to wait until September 30 at the earliest for someone to get one and do an official clearing and spec comparison.
