Pokemon has revealed another mega evolution that will make their video game debut in Pokemon Legends: Za, Mega Hawlucha. I would say that the battle type has received the hottest reception of the three new mega Evolution's design so far. Or at least I would have not seen the focus on Bird Pokemon's branch springs and the bizarre debate that has come from it.
Although Hawlucha's size does not change much when mega develops, like other Pokemon – Mega Victreebel is almost 15 feet long – it is quite different. Mega Evolving gives Hawlucha a new mask, a large collar that makes its long flowing feathers look like a cape and what I did not notice until it was pointed out to me, and now I can never be invisible, a generous new harvest in its branch area.
Mega Hawlucha, what big feathers you have
It was Sea_Honey_2747's post on Pokemon Subeddit that first warned me of Mega Hawlucha's unhappy spring placement, so a big old gold star for them, I guess. The springs are between Pokemon's legs and formed as a particular appendix. Once you've seen it you will have a hard time forgetting it, so sorry, but you clicked on this article, so it's really your own fault.
The item not only points out Mega Hawlucha's crotchal spring lump, it suggests that the Pokemon company gives its new creation a trim. OP jokes either. They really think it can be for the best if Mega Hawlucha's design changes so it is similar to a regular Hawlucha's lap.
The Pokemon community seems to agree. The answers include fans who echo that Mega Hawlucha looks better “castrated” and others question how Game Freak could have created this design and laid it out in the world without realizing what it looks like.
Not everyone is against Mega Hawlucha's design. Search for Pokemon on your social media platform chosen and browse to see what I mean. It doesn't take long to get where you have to be.
There is also a debate about exactly what the springs should represent. Some assume a championship due to Hawlucha's professional wrestling roots, but my guess is that it is meant to be a screen. Luchadors often integrate them into their wrestling equipment, including WWE's Penta, which you can see Sporting One in the picture below.
Branch springs or not, Mega Hawlucha is a bigger hit with Pokemon fans than Mega Dragonite. It can change because now fans have had a look at Mega Dragonite in anime, people seem to warm up to it.
