One Borderland's 4 Vault Hunter faces an upward battle that everyone else is avoided

Borderlands 4 Is just a few weeks away, and the hype train has well and really left the station. After a few glowing press previews a few months ago, Borderlands 4 Started rolling out a steady stream of stories and games trailers for the new co-op looter shooter. Some of the most memorable trailers have been Borderlands 4'S' Character shorts', four 3-5-minute CG trailers dedicated to each of the game's new playable arch hunter.

Vex, the new siren, got the first Borderlands 4 Character short about a month ago, with Rafa comes a week later, then AMON's, and Harlowe's rounded things a few days ago. Most of these CG trailers have been very well received by fans, with those short but punchy introductions that created every Vault Hunter's unique backstory and motivations effectively and with a lot of classic Borderland style. But there is one Borderlands 4 Vault Hunter who has not really found his audience yet, and it puts a bit of a burden on the final product.

Vex and Rafa have both the entire character's origin revealed in their CG shorts, with fans that were immediately shown how Vex's Siren first appeared and how Rafa stopped turning his back on Tediore. Amon's character Short is a little less directly with its Lore reveals, but his origin as a kind of vaulting monster hunter tease, and his trailer contains an impressive animated action sequence.

Harlowe's latest character wagons do not offer enough Lore or Action. When it comes to the backstory, it is stated that “Maliwan's ecosystem” is built on Harlowe's technology, and that she belongs to the Traunt family, a spreading deviation that has a preference for killing each other. Apart from these handsets, Harlowe's personal motifs are not really prepared in this trailer. And apart from a short vehicle hunting, Harlowe's character Short does not have very eye -catching action, with the trailer that cuts her struggle with one of her many brothers.

And Rafa borrows the best parts of both Borderlands 3S Zane and FL4K Design to deliver a new and elegant look.

Unfortunately, Harlowe stands out from the crowd again for all the wrong reasons. Harlowe's absurd oversized pants and gloves look a bit odd on her character model, and although her pants have some orange and blue highlights, the colors look a little washed out. Simply, when it stood next to the rest of Borderlands 4Harlowe seems a bit generic.

Borderland 4 will need to make an effort with Harlowe

Although Harlowe is far from the worst received character in Borderland History, she is a bit of an odd-one-out at this present moment. However, this is far from a big issue. It just means that Borderlands 4 Need to give her many opportunities to shine. Harlowe's gravity -based abilities already look like a lot of fun to use, and as long as her dialogue is strong enough to cement her distinct personality during the game, she can easily become one of the series' most memorable arches when everything is said and done.
