This list contains spoilers up to Egghead Island in one paragraph anime
Given that he is the main protagonist in A bitIt makes sense that Luffy would gradually become stronger throughout history. Much of his power comes from his devil fruit that gives Luffy a rubber body, which allows him to elicit all kinds of strange and crazy attacks to overwhelm his opponents. Although this does not in itself mean that Luffy can easily overcome all marine soldiers and pirates he meets on his journey, there have still been some occasions where he could embarrass someone, even though they were considered quite strong by many others.
Of course, this will always be humiliating for their opponent, especially if they are an Admiral or Pirate captain who must put a good impression for the rest of their teammates to follow. On the other hand, it is also a long way to emphasize how extremely powerful Luffy has become. Therefore, while everyone A bit Damn will be well aware of the times that Luffy was humiliated in battle, this list will turn the script to look at the characters that the straw captain has embarrassed instead.
Arlong
The violent arlong was struck by a rookie -pirate
Before Luffy and his tras tag group of pirates had even reached Arlong Park, they had already managed to take out their fair part of dangerous enemies, but Arlong is often considered the first large villain they face in the story. Since Arlong has a nice hatred for people, it made him reduce and mock Luffy the first time they met, because he thought it was practically impossible for a bad person to take down someone as powerful and sustainable as he was.
Although Luffy picked up some nasty damage due to along's sharp nose and teeth, he eventually was able to clober the lummer fish man with his devastating battleaxe attack, to the point where he also threw the entire Arlong Park during the process. What makes this extra embarrassing for Arlong is that he was defeated right in front of his crew, the same crew that was led to believing that their captain was more than strong enough to take over the entire East Blue at a time.
Blueno
The dangerous CP-9 agent had no hope of keeping up with Gear 2 Luffy
When the straw hats finally entered Lobby in an attempt to save Robin, they each are forced to take on an individual member of the Spy Office known as CP9. For Luffy, he would be commissioned to go up against Blueno, a man who could create doors out of thin air to overpower his opponents before delivering a deadly attack. Despite not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, Luffy could still realize that he would have to be much stronger if he wanted to deal with any real damage to Blueno, and encouraged him to finally release his latest technology, Gear 2.
With an astonishing boost to both his mobility and strength, Luffy was able to run circles around Blueno and beat him to a bloody mass on the road. In the end, Blueno would have no chance of even being able to react to Luffy's movements because of how fast he could move around the environment, and given that it usually takes a little while for him to activate his doors, he also had no means to escape when he was on the other side of Lffy's attacks.
Cracker
Cracker should probably have known better than using food against Luffy
It is not long after entering the whole of Cake Island that Luffy encounters Cracker, one of Big Mom's loyal sweet commander. As his name suggests, this dangerous pirate can call an army of cracker soldiers thanks to his devil fruit, which would usually be more than enough to drive away anyone who dares to surpass Big Mom's territory. However, this did not work exactly on Luffy, who instead saw this as a challenge to see how much he could eat before he reached his limit.
This would be the first time that Luffy reveals his whole new tank form, and essentially extends his stomach to a point where he can eat as much as he wants without feeling sick. After gabbing up many cracker soldiers, Luffy would then release a devastating barrier of hard striking pans to handle the rest of Cracker's devices and completely humiliated him in barely at all.
Kizaru
Luffy turned out to be a real annoyance for the fast Admiral
Admittedly, Kizau was not in the right state of mind when he met Luffy on Egghead Island, given that he had just been ordered to murder his best friend in cold blood. But while the Admiral was able to keep his own while taking on a hyperpowered Luffy, in the end, he would fight to overcome his Gear 5 attacks, which made his mission much more difficult than he probably expected. This is done all the more humiliating the fact that Luffy, which he always does when he entered tool 5, laughed like a madman as he threw Kizaru around like a ragdoll in their battle.
In fact, the situation would be so difficult that the five elders will eventually be forced to participate in the fight to handle Luffy and Vegapunk themselves. Although Kizaru eventually managed to complete his mission, it becomes quite clear that the inconvenience he met with Luffy was a pretty embarrassing moment for the Admiral to endure, especially when he was lambed by Akainu not long behind via it mushi.
Bellamy
Bellamy has a bad habit of talking too much before a battle
Although it can be very easy to assume that Bellamy is a fairly weak pirate considering that he has been taken down twice by Luffy in the story, there are still indications that he is not as weak as he can originally operate. After all, Bellamy was still able to gather a whole crew of pirates around him, and he also has a devil fruit that gives him an incredible boost for his speed and mobility, which makes it very difficult for someone to get stuck when he moves at full speed.
Despite this, Bellamy's first meeting with Luffy did not go exactly his way, because he ended up with only one place, all in front of his entire crew. However, it does not stop there, since Bellamy would once again be embarrassed in exactly the same way much later in the story, but this time, in front of Doflamingo, his childhood hero. All these defeat actually encouraged Bellamy to give up the life of piracy for good, which is probably for the best, considering getting a shot of Luffy over and over can not be healthy.
Kaido
Not even the impossible kaido could keep up with gear 5
Given that Kaido is an evil tyrant who controls Wano through fear, it would not exactly be a good look if he was thrown by a random pirate in front of the whole country. During his first meetings, Kaido was able to handle Luffy without much concern, but everything changed when the Stråhatt captain began to channel the power of Sun Good Nika. By entering Gear 5, Luffy can mainly play God by transforming the surrounding environment and his opponents into a giant drawing film.
As a result, he could swing Kaido around like a toy, and at one point even began to use his scaly dragon body as a jump rope. To put it simply, Luffy humiliated Kaido before taking him down for good, shows up to the people of Wano that they don't have to be afraid of him anymore. This would be the first time Kaido has met real humiliation after he got a scar from Oden many years before, and although it seems that he will now be in action for the rest of the story, if he somehow manages to come back, it seems very likely that he will be desperate to be revenge on the man who turned him into a joke.
