These are the best war cards in MTG

Of all the mechanical magic: The Gathering's Edge of Eternities introduced, Warp is superior to the most potential. Lander symbols are cool, and spaceships are also available, but Warp lets you throw out cards too much cheaper, with the reservation they just stick to a single turn.

When using warp, you will want them to make the greatest effect possible. Most warning cards are good in some way or other, but there are a few that Oculd sees games for a long time to come. Which warp cards are the best of the best?

Starwinder

Choice on your opponent

Starwinder MTG card

Thanks to Starwinder, your combat damage is transformed directly into short draw. If you need a quick way to get lots of hand advantage, it is to turn a Starwinder far from the worst you can do – even if you miss the 7/7 beater it gives when you war it for a single turn.

Unfortunately, Starwinder's ability comes at a cost, as the cost of warp it is the highest of something short. Four mana for this effect can really help you pull you back into the game, but if you are desperate enough to turn for four mana, you probably don't really do much else on your turn.

Might form Harmonician

TIFA 2: Landfall Boogaloo

Might form Harmonician

Landfall is clearly a massive underpowered and ineffective mechanic in the sorcerers in the eyes of the coast, as Might form harmonizer is the latest in a series of cards such as TIFA and Bristly Bill that enables practically two -turn combinations if used correctly. When you play a country, you double a creature power – stack with tipa, and you quadruple instead.

In Limited you have enough Lander tokens that float around to repeatedly double some power, but in constructed and commanders, this slot nicely into the endless parade of Fetchland's, extra land and land recursion that already makes land tires an absolute animal to play against.

Nova Hellkite

It's time to crush

Nova Hellkite

At first glance, Nova Hellkite is not much. It pings only one creature for a measurement injury, so what is the point? Well, if you are thinking about the trigger, you wrap Nova Hellkite wrong. While most other Warp cards want you to use their Enter triggers, this one simply wants you to crush your opponents' face.

Nova Hellkite has a haste, which is a rarity for oblique cards. For three mans you get a 4/5 aircraft that also pings an opponent's creature when it comes in as an extra bonus. The goal is to rush in with this too much damage before you throw it later – if the game still goes then.

Haliya, guided by light

Hi, soul sister

MTG Haliya, controlled by Light Card with the art in the background.

Costs for one-man warp are good, as they can easily record with your regular playing field instead of closing up the entire tour. Haliya, guided by light is a perfect example of this, as she can come in, get you lots of life and then leave to come back later without using all your resources.

Haliya is the latest in a long line of Soul Warden style effects, except that she has the extra bonus to make you life for every artifact that also comes in. If you are getting an explosive turn where you do lots of tokens, whether those creatures of artifacts, release Haliya first to take up Lifegain.

Starfield singer

This has the X factor

Starfield -Vocalist Card, from Magic: The Gathering's Edge of Eternities Set.

Any cards that can double an Enter Trigger will immediately be worth playing. That is why Panharmonicon is a commander, which is why Starfield singers are such a banger at the edge of eternity. For two mans you can get a one-turn panharmonicon effect for everything you play after it.

Keep in mind that many Warp cards have in triggers, and to play Starfield singers before losing other oblique cards like Haliya and Nova Hellkite can be a great synergy, even if you stop losing everything at the end of the turn.

Anticausal Vestige

Omniscience Combo is back

Anticausal Vestige

Of course, Eldrazi has to do things a little differently. Instead of using warp as a way to get a cheap Enter trigger, Anticausal Vestige actually wants you to ban it at the end of the turn, with a leave the battlefield trigger to cheat a permanent game for free.

There are some disadvantages, for example, that it binds with Starwinder as an expensive four-man-war cost, and the permanent you put down that I have to cost equal to or less than the number of chips you control. But regardless, this not only worked as a warning card, but also an excellent wink or sacrifice.

Load zone

If only the spaceship was not terrible

Loading Zone MTG card

At the edge of the limited environment of eternity, the loading zone is easily one of the best ways to quickly upload a spaceship or planet. All your stationing is doubled, so you get those like uthros or eternity elevator online way faster. Plus, like Haliya, will only cost a mana not eating too much in what you do in a tour.

In any other format, the loading zone is a cool new part of the hardened scales and doubles the seasonal family, which fits nicely into all tires that want to use +1/ +1 counters. It is held back by only working with creatures and two other permanent types that will not see a lot of play outside Limited, but in a mana it will still be used for some spicy turns.

Exciting senders

Drons and on

Pinnacle Emissary Mtg Card

Pinnacle Emissary is a hidden sleeping cabin of eternity. There are so many cheap artifact formulas that, even with just a turn to do so, you can quickly make lots of Drone symbols. Cheeries have needed a new toy to play for a while, and Pinnacle Emissary and a hand full of cards such as Tormods Crypt, Mox Amber, Ornithopter, Mishra Bauble, Zuran Orb and Paradise Mantle deliver.

Run this and Haliya in the same tire, so you get ridiculous amounts of life with both the artifacts you throw and the drones Pinnacle Emissary makes her trigger her.

Sunborn

More gas for Elsthh

Sunborn

The only thing better than an Enter Trigger double like Starfield singer, or a counter -doubles like Pinnacle Emissary, is a token stubble. Annointed procession, parallel lives and doubling season may not be in standard, but raised Sunborn is safe and already inserts lots of work.

Exalted Sunborn doubles not only doubles creatures – it doubles anything. And standard is full of ways to make tokens, such as Job Select in Final Fantasy, Bloomburrow offspring and mobilization in Tarkir: Dragon Storm. It even helps with ramp but doubles all the landers or treasures you can do.

Quantum edge

Gitle me this, why is this card so good?

Quantum edge

If you play limited or standard, it will be difficult to really see the appeal of Quantum Riddler. All that does is draw a card when it comes in that, even though it is good, does not feel as good as a token stubble as Exalted Sunborn. This is because none of these formats have been eating, which immediately makes this Sphinx a massive threat.

For two mans you get a 4/6 aircraft that fills with card drawing. For just one man more, you can blink it with a fleeting to draw another card and now have a 4/6 aircraft that will not disappear at the end of the turn. Sure, you can do this with an oblique all-fat's stalker, but that a mana is the difference between a card that does not get much hype and one has rapidly risen as one of the best mythical rare in the entire set for such as master.
