With the open beta test for the Battlefield 6 end, fans have to wait until October to get their filling of it again. While the huge number of players in line for the open beta is an indication of its success, the general consensus is that the series is back after the disappointing reception for Battlefield 2042.
Of course, not everyone is happy with how the game shakes up. Some have expressed concern about how weapons are unlocked based on career ranking rather than weapons class ranking, while others believe that Battlefield 6 favor open weapons classes that destroy the balance. However, some long-lasting fans believe that the game aims to bring in call of duty fans rather than satisfying the Battlefield fans.
Battlefield 6 -Players think it is trying to be Call of Duty
“It is very obvious that this beta does not aim to get back battle veterans or get battlefield players excited. It is intentionally designed to get as many cod players as possible,” says a Reddit post of helpful standard-867. Most of their complaints were about the maps in Beta, which were smaller than the ones we are used to in previous titles.
While we know that the final game will contain larger maps, some Battlefield 6 believes that it is not a matter of size, but how they are structured. “To be completely honest, I love everything about this game, except the maps. It's not even their actual size, it's that they” feel “small,” said one of the comments. “In any way, a single sector in BF1 felt than every BF6 map we have seen so far.” Others also agreed to say Battlefield 1's maps felt like actual battlefields in war.
The question here is the modern environment and urban war that Battlefield 6 functions can make maps feel less. Destroying an entire city is the unique sale site for this entry, which is why some players feel that it is aimed at Call of Duty players with their maps. We have also not seen all the maps that the game will contain, so it is safe too early to assess it based on beta.
