Helldivers 2 is finally launched on Xbox later this month, and although many believe it was developer Arrowhead who pressed the harbor, CEO Shams Jorjani admitted that “it was all Playstation”.
“Send them your thanks!” Jorjani said at Discord after a fan thanked him for leaving the game to Sony's biggest competitor (via videograms). “We were of course supported. I think it's one of the coolest things they've done. They kill it.”
With Playstation as the driving force behind the harbor, it is clear that exclusivity is slowly becoming a dying race. Many of the console's best-selling games this year have been the first lot of Xbox editions, and both Console Giants have launched their heavy hitters at PC for several years now.
The vast majority of developers and content creators who speak at Devcom this year even speculate that we are at the end of the so -called “Console Wars”, and that exclusivity quickly becomes a story history. The only console giant that seems to stick to the strategy is Nintendo, so you probably won't see Mario jump around on Playstation anytime soon.
Not every Helldivers 2 -Player is happy with the Xbox port

But while many fans have a shady arrowhead to praise disagreement for the harbor – and now Playstation, after being redirected by Jorjani – not everyone is happy to see his favorite new troop shooter Grace another platform.
Last month, we reported that several players had begun to encourage society to destroy the game for Xbox players, sabotage and sorm all games they can show up in.
“We may not be able to stop the release, but Helldivers 2 has a team killing,” said a player. “We have to do our part and destroy the experience on the first day. Use advanced stratagem in your team, waste life, destroy extractions, steal samples. We have this.”
Hopefully this starts and ends on social media, and Xbox players are welcomed into the Galactic war with open arms.
