New Xbox Game Pass -levels leaked possibly

New Xbox Game Pass Tiers may be on the horizon, according to some recently diverse evidence drawn directly from Microsoft's servers. The leak contains four code names linked to unidentified XCLoud programs, which may be related to one or more upcoming Xbox Game Pass members.

Microsoft restructured most recently its popular subscription service in September 2024. That was when the Xbox Game Pass Standard and Core were introduced, which offers access to reduced content catalogs and benefits at a smaller price. XGP Standard was a brand new addition to the service, while Core was placed as a direct replacement for Xbox Live Gold. Rumors that even more levels are in the works have sporadically emerged online since then.

The Xbox Game Pass surprises subscribers with a new day-one title, which was originally planned to be released in the spring of 2025 but ended.

If this trend continues, certain circumstances point to new Xbox Game Pass levels have now appeared on social media, with Bluesky user Redphx, which reveals references to four unidentified “programs” names recognized by the Xbox Cloud Gaming API: Callisto, Dia, Europe and Ferdinand. In this context, “Program” refers to XCLoud offers, of which only three are currently active: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, a Bring-your-owl-Game plan and a limited Xbox cloud game with free to play Xbox that currently only contains only contains Fortnite. These active programs are identified with names in API, which suggests that the four newly discovered entries – which are less descriptive – are likely to code names.

Game Rant could independently replicate these results by asking Microsoft's undocumented but publicly available API. Whether the four code names really refers to any without announcement Xbox Game Pass levels is debatable, but since their mentions were drawn directly from Microsoft's servers, there is no doubt about the authenticity of Monikers themselves. XCLoud API returns program references as a range of strings. Redphx speculates that their order means level hierarchy, with Callisto which represents the highest and Ferdinand the lowest. Because the matrix is clearly sorted alphabetically – and with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Tier listed last – this interpretation remains doubtful. If The order has any connection to the level hierarchy, it is equally likely that Ferdinand is the highest (non-closing) level and Callisto the lowest. Although the new Xbox Game Pass membership is coming, not all individuals of these leaked programs will necessarily map to a unique level. After all, two of the three currently available programs (XCloud Byog and Ultimate) are both connected to a single plan, XGP Ultimate.
